CrimsonRegret Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 Yeah they still sell it afterward, but from my experience.. the lines are loong and they tend to run out of the most popular stuff quickly. This is based on other shows I have been to, not Green Day show.
Angela. Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 Yep, there's no more dates at this point for North America, and the official newsletter just proved it. Green Day will be coming home to the Shoreline Ampitheatre in San Francisco, CA on September 4th. The band will finish up the second leg of their U.S. Tour this Summer in their hometown with AFI before travelling to South America for the first time in nearly 10 years. Fuck.
Salmonator. Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 Yep, there's no more dates at this point for North America, and the official newsletter just proved it. Fuck. I'm really sorry, Angela. I love you, <3. I will write them angry letters to come where you live ):<
Angela. Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 I'm really sorry, Angela. I love you, <3. I will write them angry letters to come where you live ):< Thank you, I love you too. <3 I mean, there's always another tour... but I was so prepared for this time around! I have a pair of the infamous 'Fuck Time' jeans (red skinny jeans), and I had a sign request for Like A Rat Does Cheese ready, too!
green day fantasy Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 All in all, this is just a STRANGE "tour." It barely exists, and it sounds like a big chunk of the shows aren't going to bring the full experience of seeing the show. I completely agree. As much as I love Green Day I am disappointed with this tour. Not just because their not coming to Ohio but in general. In my opinion this tour could have been better managed. They could have released tour dates at the same time and give fans more time to purchase tickets instead of purchasing tickets the day after you find out they are coming to your hometown. For example when I found out Lady Gaga was coming here, it was a monday I believe and the tickets went on sale that friday. I had at least 4 days to come up with the money, find someone to go with etc, before tickets went on sale. I dont know this tour just seems rushed to me with the whole ticket thing. As for the tour existing I dont think it does either lol. For the AI tour thats all i heard about was people going to see Green Day and not only that but it was one of the biggest tours that year. Now its like theirs no mention of it. Its all about the AI musical and other stuff. Im glad they are touring south america. It gives the people there a chance to see them.
Salmonator. Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 You, guys I need some advice. I wanted to hear some of your experiences with getting reserved seats through the Idiot Club presale. I've heard that some people got really shitty seats through IC, and I don't want to pay 20 bucks to get shitty seats. Anyways, I was wondering what kind of seats you guys got through IC.
CrimsonRegret Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 I've never even used to IC presale before although I was a member for a while years back - they are screwing me over damnit! They will not answer my emails!!! I think imma die! x@#$^#$^&$#!!!!!!!!!

I agree with both of these posts! The lack of Ohio and western PA bums me out hardcore.
Rebel07 Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 omg ur going to the chula vista show! are you going to be in the pits? No I'm not going to that show... I'm hoping to go see them in Dallas, TX.
Laura! Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 I agree with both of these posts! The lack of Ohio and western PA bums me out hardcore. Oh, me too. I thought that since they forgot Ohio in the first leg that they'd come here in the second leg. Ohio loves Green Day too!
norcalgreendayfan Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 No Pacific Northwest shows either :[ come to the homecoming show Bri
Velocity Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 You, guys I need some advice. I wanted to hear some of your experiences with getting reserved seats through the Idiot Club presale. I've heard that some people got really shitty seats through IC, and I don't want to pay 20 bucks to get shitty seats. Anyways, I was wondering what kind of seats you guys got through IC. It seemed like I was one of very few people who were lucky to get good seats through the IC. My show doesn't have a pit but I got 7th row and I know there were a few other people who got seats in the front section too. But you're right, a lot of people got crappy seats too and wound up being really disappointed. Here's my advice to you: The less tickets you're trying to get together, chances are you'll get better seats. I think I only got a good seat because I was buying just 1 ticket. If you're trying to get, say, 3 tickets, you probably won't get a good spot. If you want to get like 2 tickets, you could try buying one right after the other or you could use 2 computers if you can. I hope this helps
Dry_Ice Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 OMG. I completely forgot about this "rule." WHICH SUCKS. Maybe they can play before Lolla? Why oh why is there such a rule here? What is the point? It just pisses me off and makes me so sad. Edit: Wait, wait, they can't play in Chicago, but what about Tinley Park? That's how they get around it I guess. Fingers crossed. Well isn't Tinley Park Cook County? If they played DuPage where would they play? That would be awesome, Green Day playing like ten minutes away from my house lol
Kleptomaniac Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 Pit for Bristow, VA and Alpharetta, GA !!! I'm gonna be kinda pissed if they end up playing VA Beach Amphitheater or something closer like that. But whatever I love traveling.
Nmd Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 Yeah, I got pit tickets through IC but not reserved seating
CrimsonRegret Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 No Pacific Northwest shows either :[ Come down here! Ya know.. with your special abilities and all!
Nmd Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 I was seriously about to look into going to the homecoming show in Cali and looking at flights and stuff... until I realized it'll be Labor Day weekend No way in HELL I would be able to get off of work.
Young_Nastyman Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 Pit for Bristow, VA and Alpharetta, GA !!! I'm gonna be kinda pissed if they end up playing VA Beach Amphitheater or something closer like that. But whatever I love traveling. OH THANK GOD! I got worried there for a second
