Guest Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 i guess im just not gonna be going to this tour it makes me really sad. im dying to see them again...plus, who knows how long it'll be before their next tour? it could be years really.
Sarahnade. Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 I wish they would at least tell us they were done adding dates, if they are.
Angela. Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 I wish they would at least tell us they were done adding dates, if they are. Yeah, same here.
Rebel07 Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 They need to add a Chicago date, or some Missouri ones. They had two Missouri dates last tour, I'll be really confused if they don't post any for this one. I've saved up all this money to see them, and they haven't even announced any locations that are even close to Illinois. And now it's probably impossible to get general admission in any of the other states, because those dates have been posted forever...and I won't settle for anything less than general admission... They need to post more dates! Soon! I know! I live in Kansas and there is no show close to me at all. They can't forget about the midwest
valentinesandcigs Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Didn't Billie say he would come back to Kansas? Liar
Mar Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 I wish they would at least tell us they were done adding dates, if they are. THIS. Either give us some reassurance that "more dates are coming for the UNITED STATES," not in general, or say "No, fuck you, we're done!"
Young_Nastyman Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Didn't Billie say he would come back to Kansas? Liar For all you know he could have passed through, he never specified it would be on a tour
Velocity Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 I know there have been local radio stations giving out tickets to the shows this summer as well as soundcheck passes. Does anyone think they'll still have the Verizon soundcheck passes again this time around? Or do you think they won't do that again because of the radio contests? It'd be cool to be able to get into soundcheck the day of the concert, and not have to win a radio contest.
Peace and Rainbows Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 so exited, august 5th just survive till then

I guess it would depend if Verizon is sponsoring this tour again, I don't know if that's been confirmed (someone correct me if I'm wrong)?
AllIWannaDoIs... Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Don't know if this has already been mentioned, but another date has been added on greenday.com for San Francisco. GREEN DAY.COM: Green Day will be coming home to the Shoreline Ampitheatre in San Francisco, CA on September 4th. The band will finish up the second leg of their U.S. Tour this Summer in their hometown with AFI before travelling to South America for the first time in nearly 10 years. Tickets will be $50 for reserved seats and $20 for the lawn. Just like all US Summer shows, these prices include all fees including parking. See you there!!! GREEN DAY - September 4th, 2010 On Sale - June 19th @ 10am Shoreline Ampitheatre One Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043 (650) 967-3000
Mar Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Yep, they did add a date for San Francisco. And this just crushed everyone else in the United States' hopes for more dates: "Green Day will be coming home to the Shoreline Ampitheatre in San Francisco, CA on September 4th. The band will finish up the second leg of their U.S. Tour this Summer in their hometown with AFI..." AWESOME. So much for seeing them this year! But I'm happy for the NorCal people.

Yes I am so glad there is a Norcal Date, I knew there would be and I will be going. The Downside to this venue though is that its all seats and a lawn, No pit
Robin105 Posted June 3, 2010 Author Posted June 3, 2010 PNC Bank Arts Center doesn't have a pit either. I don't get how there could be a Green Day concert without a pit?
norcalgreendayfan Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 PNC Bank Arts Center doesn't have a pit either. I don't get how there could be a Green Day concert without a pit? I guess we will find out, but Green Day will find a way to make it good
Laura! Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 PNC Bank Arts Center doesn't have a pit either. I don't get how there could be a Green Day concert without a pit? I don't think DTE has a pit either. Who knows what will happen.
norcalgreendayfan Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 I don't think DTE has a pit either. Who knows what will happen. Billie will toss wrenches and tools to the crowd and tell us to rip that shit out
Robin105 Posted June 3, 2010 Author Posted June 3, 2010 how do we know there's no more dates? That's true. We don't. I hope there are more.
Laura! Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 I haven't looked at the dates recently, but aren't there still gaps in between dates that they could fit more shows? Maybe they'll add one or two more. Billie will toss wrenches and tools to the crowd and tell us to rip that shit out I could see that happening.
Prisca Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 I'm a bit confused as to why they'd chose venues without a pit. Oh well.
