Angela. Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 I have to admit, I'm pretty upset about this. I've had high hopes for months now that they would add more dates... Oh well.
lizziebix Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 I guess we need to lower our expectations. Maybe then they will surprise us.
Guest ☼ Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 I guess we need to lower our expectations. Maybe then they will surprise us. I don't think we need to lower our expectations. Zoe posted something over a month ago showing a date line up that had a header that said "more dates to be announced" And clearly, no more dates have been announced yet sooo I was thinking back to the AI tour and I remember them adding more dates for the summer/fall US tour in late May (because I was freaking out that I would not going to be able to see them so I bought tickets to the Carson show at the Home Depot center then like... a week later they released more dates.. and go figure.. a date that was about 20 minutes from me... so I did not need to buy the Cali. tickets but I was getting nervous)
Chad is Rad Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Okay, does anyone know if there are for sure going to be more North American tour dates announced? The other ones from the tour were posted ages ago, and I'm getting very worried, to say the least...
Riotgrrl_GD Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 What about this: Green Day North American tour dates are as follows: *More dates will be announced soon. August 3 Camden, NJ Susquehanna Bank Center On Sale 4/3 5 Buffalo, NY Darien Lake Performing Arts Center On Sale 4/17 9 Alpharetta, GA Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre On Sale 3/27 11 Washington, DC Jiffy Lube Live On Sale 4/9 12 Hartford, CT Comcast Theater On Sale 4/2 14 Holmdel, NJ PNC On Sale 3/26 16 Boston, MA Comcast Center On Sale 3/27 18 Toronto, ONT Molson Canadian Amphitheatre On Sale 3/27 23 Detroit, MI DTE Energy Music Theater On Sale 3/26 26 Dallas, TX Superpages.com Center On Sale 4/2 28 Denver, CO Comfort Dental Amphitheatre On Sale 3/27 30 Phoenix, AZ Cricket Wireless Pavilion On Sale 4/3 31 Los Angeles, CA Verizon Wireless Amphitheater TBA September 2 Chula Vista, CA Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre On Sale 4/2 You think they were talking about non-NA tour dates? SHIT, they did announce Canadian dates later... I'm fucking grasping for straws here! Have they ever done a tour this short in the US? I don't think we need to lower our expectations. Amer. I'm not trying to be a negative Nancy, I'm just bummed! My other hold out was the AFI site also saying that more dates were to come. I checked today and they have released more dates, just without Green Day (and during Green Day's tour of other places). I kinda wish a mod would ring in on this cause I'm desperate for someone to prove me wrong!
Sarahnade. Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 I really wish they would add more. There are so many states they left out. Like uh, Pennsylvania. Yeah. I saved over $200 just to see them a couple times this Summer, and I might not see them once. And all this waiting and wondering. It's really depressing. I hope that's not it.
woahsilence Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 their needs to be a florida date! i can't go all the way to georgia
Laura! Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 I wonder why they are waiting so long to release new dates. They have plenty of time between the end of the US tour and the beginning of the South American tour to come back through the US. And they need to come to Ohio!

I was wanting a Pittsburgh date. It could have been a possible amazing GDC meetup in addition to a kickass show.
valentinesandcigs Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Yeah I was planning on going to the Pittsburgh show if they announced one ugh.
Salmonator. Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 I don't get how they don't play their own fucking hometown.
Guest ☼ Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 The also skipped the WHOLE Northwest Corner of the United States. Seriously lame.
Supermodel*Robot Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 They've completely forgotten the West Coast exists. WHAT THE FUCK It's your own time zone.
Guest ☼ Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 They've completely forgotten the West Coast exists. WHAT THE FUCK It's your own time zone. Well there are some Cali. dates... but only in Cali...
Supermodel*Robot Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Yeah it's true, but I mean...what about us? I was prepared to make a road trip to Seattle but they aren't even going there! UGH. They've honestly planned the entire planet except for us.

Hanner Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Well there are some Cali. dates... but only in Cali... yeah 2 SoCal dates that are practically in Mexico. California almost twice as big as the UK! so 2 shows that are that far south and only an hour and a half away from each other is not very nice at all. aahhrr;lkasdjfk!anger. /angry rant

CrimsonRegret Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 if theyre not going to add anymore US tour dates they should at least let us know!!!! Seriously!
Laura! Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 I think they'll add new dates. Soon for them is longer than soon would be for us.
