norcalgreendayfan Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 Hah. I didn't start going to shows till after I moved out, but my parents are still supportive. They worry when I travel, so I call them at least once a day, just to let them know I'm still alive. I'm hoping I can take my mom to a GD concert this year. yeah my parents get over it eventually and i love going to shows i mean i have my cell phone so they can call and i can do the same, that would be cool if you could take your mom to a show

If you can, I'd just take a car. That way you don't have to worry about a train schedule. And in general, it just gives you more freedom. BTW, the cops in Newark are fucking stupid assholes! At least the ones that hang around the airport. I was there on Thursday night picking up my brother, and all they did was make me move and keep driving around till he came out. HELLO? The sign says PASSENGER PICKUP LANE?! UGH.

When they toured for AI, I was too young. When they toured last summer, none of their shows were anywhere remotely near my hometown and I don't exactly have a car or license. This year, I'll be eighteen and I figured if they either skip my hometown or end up playing in my hometown on the first day of school, I could always buy tickets to a show a bit farther away and take a plane there (I'll be an adult; my parents can't stop me).

But we had to find the hotel's shuttle. We kinda just waited until it came. But I didn't see any cops.
