Joy of suburbia. Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Tomorrow, I'm selling my textbooks for more money. I'm that desprate...I mean, I asked people over Facebook for money, and they actually agreed to lend me money, which was awesome. I just need $30.00 and I think I'm good. and I'm worried for my friend becuase he doesn't have the money now and I want him to be next to me...ljskbclskadvclksdbclsq. I'm buying my ticket on Friday and I'm just so worried for presales cause I really wanna be in the front at PNC. I'm seriously panicing right now.
Hanner Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 i hate not knowing for sure how much tickets will be. and i hope the idiot club doesn't do the will call thing again cause last time it was a complete disaster and screwed me big time. if they do will call for the presale then im not even going to bother with it. will call+idiot club=horrible. no organization at all.
Fuzz Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Will call definitely made me nervous. But it worked out. I would much prefer to have it before-hand though. It feels like way too last minute for something to fuck-up.
woahinez Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 if they do will call for the presale then im not even going to bother with it. will call+idiot club=horrible. no organization at all. yeah i won't bother either. im not willing to go through it again.
-Billiejoezee- Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 What happened with will call?? I have 50 bucks right now. But my parents don't have anything and I can't go by myself. My brain is about to explode.
Abstractication Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Is it worth it to join IC just for the three day difference of IC presales vs. local presales?
-Billiejoezee- Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Is it worth it to join IC just for the three day difference of IC presales vs. local presales? Imagine how many people can buy tickets in three days..... Atleast for LA it's horrible. I woke up that saturday the day the L.A tixs when onsale last year and they went onsale at 10 PM and by the time I was gonna buy them 12:00 they were sold out.
karma1215 Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Lawn seats are going for $20.00 at the Lube in D,C, .... but forget that I want the V.I.P. deal. I'm going for all or nothing.
valentinesandcigs Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Camden GDC meet up is gonna be an event people. We are making t shirts! Haha god i can't wait to meet all of you .
woahinez Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 What happened with will call?? I have 50 bucks right now. But my parents don't have anything and I can't go by myself. My brain is about to explode. well for me it just didnt work out. i got there super early. waited in line all day. the idiot club tickets weren't available until the start of the concert, literally like a few minutes before it was about to start. everyone that got there tickets through the idiot club were very mad. oh and i lost my place in line so i had to go all the way to the back. however, i still managed to get pretty close to the stage. i have no idea how. so i basically wasted my time in line all day long for nothing.
Robin105 Posted March 24, 2010 Author Posted March 24, 2010 Am I the only one who didn't have a problem with will call? I also like having the tickets beforehand too. That way I have my tickets but then again will call may be better in some cases if someone loses there tickets. Will Call you don't have to worry about losing your ticket unless you drop it while at the venue.
-Billiejoezee- Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 We should make a Cali meet up. Anyone up for it? well for me it just didnt work out. i got there super early. waited in line all day. the idiot club tickets weren't available until the start of the concert, literally like a few minutes before it was about to start. everyone that got there tickets through the idiot club were very mad. oh and i lost my place in line so i had to go all the way to the back. however, i still managed to get pretty close to the stage. i have no idea how. so i basically wasted my time in line all day long for nothing. Ohh.... No matter how far you are..... you'll get to the front. I'm scared of asking my mom if she has money....

I woke up that saturday the day the L.A tixs when onsale last year and they went onsale at 10 PM and by the time I was gonna buy them 12:00 they were sold out. So what you're saying is that I should jump on it like a motherfuckin bird to a worm. Actually I just remembered the time when I was buying Projekt Revolution tickets, they went onsale late morning and I didn't get home from school til 3 pm and GA/100s were already gone. Great, more money to shell out and I don't even know how much they are in the first place.
Joy of suburbia. Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 holy fuck... I hope these pre-sales are not gonna be the death of me. If I don't have enough money by Friday, I'm forced to go to Camden and I don't think my parents are gonna let me do that. I really feel like crying right now.
minorty13 Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Does anyone want to answer a quick question? I noticed that almost all of the shows I've looked into going to don't have pits All the venues (superpages.com center and Comcast center) have seats all the way up to the stage. Does this mean that they're going to get rid of the seats for the show or am I going to have to go to a Green Day show and actually sit in a seat the whole night? Sorry if this has already been asked and answered but this thread is moving too fast to keep up with! Thanks for the help, this tour is so fucking confusing!!!!

They'll take off the seats I think. holy fuck... I hope these pre-sales are not gonna be the death of me. OMFG JOY I'M SCARED OF TELLING MY MOM THEY PRESALES GO ON SALE THE 30TH......
minorty13 Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 They'll take off the seats I think. Ah thank God I was so confused! Thank you thank you! I'm so stressed right now! This is too much to take in! I barely have anytime to work out travel plans with my family more or less buy tickets in my own fucking state!!! I hate being unsure!
Fuzz Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Yeah they'll more than likely take out some rows for a general standing area. And i didn't have a problem with Will Call. It was a bit annoying not knowing what was going on until it was happening. But i had my tickets and got inside, so all was good at the end of the day. I'd just prefer not to do it again. I wouldn't skip a concert because of it.
-Billiejoezee- Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Did you guys get to see the opening act though?

Thanks for the help, this tour is so fucking confusing!!!! they could remove the seats and make room for a pit. and also it's not required that you sit the whole time or least the venues ive been to with seats let you stand up.
-Billiejoezee- Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 I can't sit at a green day concert. I need to stand. It's like I'm gonna pee on myself if I sit down.

Joy darling, take at least three seconds every minute to breath!! It will all work out for you! It has to! Does anyone want to answer a quick question? Sorry if this has already been asked and answered but this thread is moving too fast to keep up with! Thanks for the help, this tour is so fucking confusing!!!! I think my venue has a super small pit, that they have put seats up in the past for some events...not sure about all of them, if you do have seats I guarentee Billie will not allow anyone to sit on their ass the whole show. That is blasphamy. Lawn seats are going for $20.00 at the Lube in D,C, .... but forget that I want the V.I.P. deal. I'm going for all or nothing. THIS!
valentinesandcigs Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 lol you know you guys can stand from your seat
-Billiejoezee- Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 lol you know you guys can stand from your seat I was scared of standing cause I thought I was gonna block everyone's view....but they all standed too.
minorty13 Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 they could remove the seats and make room for a pit. and also it's not required that you sit the whole time or least the venues ive been to with seats let you stand up. Yea I know, but I just went to a Muse concert and I had seats and I practically fell on the dude in front of me... I get carried away ESPECIALLY if it's Green Day! I really hope they'll remove the seats, I can't imagine them not though.
