Son0fRag3andlov3 Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Does anyone know if the Hartford show has an Idiot Club presale? It's not listed on the shows for Idiot Club, but I think that may be because the tickets go on presale on the 31st. A fan club presale is listed. Anyone know?
Guest Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 lol would you rather spend 245 dollars like Neil Young or 85 dollars? Guys they aren't doing fee's which means its more expensive. with or without fees 85 dollars is still 85 dollars haha. last tour tickets were what, 60? and they ended up being around 80 after fees. and i thought it was expensive then too. ill still pay it, i want to go, but it doesnt look like ill be able to go to more than one date like i wanted to
valentinesandcigs Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Fair enough haha lets just be glad they aren't doing 85 dollars with fee's.
Sarahnade. Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 I know $85 isn't too unreasonable, but I've been planning on spending about $50 or so on one ticket. I just wasn't expecting it. I barely have enough for two tickets now. I can probably pick up anyone who's on the way. I'm flying to PA and driving to Camden from there. I'd love to, but no waaaaay would I be allowed to.
valentinesandcigs Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 I'd love to, but no waaaaay would I be allowed to. YOU GET YOUR ASS IN THAT CAR SARAH

I barely have enough for two tickets now. this i assumed my boyfriend would pay to get me and him both a ticket, but i really dont see that happening now if they are 85 dollars. especially because he doesn't even like green day, he was just gonna come to humor me...i definitely don't see him shelling out almost 200 dollars for the two of us to see them. not to mention i have fifty million other things going on right now that im trying to save my money for and i just didnt think the tickets were gonna be that much haha.
Sarahnade. Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 ^Yeah, it sucks. ): YOU GET YOUR ASS IN THAT CAR SARAH MY PARENTS WOULD NEVER ALLOW ME
colormestoopid Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Has anyone gotten the email from th IC yet? And another thing for anyone who's going to holmdel, it's listed on livenation but not ticketmaster so yeah.......
idiot4u Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 i was living for some mid midwest dates--maybe they'll be some added. i am still crossing fingers for loola--i notice there's no concerts listed the weekend of it, so maybe the rumors are true and they're going to be there.
Guest Shangri-La Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 FUCK I'll be living in a dumpster by the end of the summer. $85 Green Day? Really??

I barely have enough for two tickets now. this. I was expecting $50.00 and that was cool. Then I heard it was $70.00 and now it's $85.00... I can barely afford it. I'm borrowing money from people and selling my textbooks just to get extra money. I'm stressing out right now...like you have no idea.

I believe all of the shows have them, but the ones with later dates for ticket sales won't get the email yet. I think. I could just be making this up though :/ FUCK I'll be living in a dumpster by the end of the summer. $85 Green Day? Really?? This.

It's just affects planning on going to mulitiple shows since I was expecting it to be around 50 bucks as well. Now going to like four shows like I'm sure some were planning to do will cost near 400 dollars in tickets alone. That is a sizable cost to some of us here.
Guest Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 FUCK I'll be living in a dumpster by the end of the summer. $85 Green Day? Really?? this this this. i graduate in may and right after that im supposed to be going on a trip to key west so right now all my money i get i have to save for that plus all the money from family for graduating... plus i was planning on moving out this summer...which is going to take quite a chunk of money and now 85 dollars for a ticket plus the cost of whatever it takes to get to whatever show i go to, and a hotel room. im just gonna have to become a prositute.
Laura! Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 For DTE it goes from $35 to $85. So maybe $35 is lawn and $85 is all the way to the front?
Son0fRag3andlov3 Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 My Jovi tickets at Giants stadium were $65 each plus $15 service charge each ticket for seats in the upper deck, so I'm happy the GD tickets are $85.
saraHsunshine Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 I guess now that the shock has worn off it could be worse...I paid over this to see Dylan...
.:Whatsername:. Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 I'm not that worried about prices. My dad goes and sees bands like Iron Maiden for way more then $80 a ticket, so if I want to see a band that's cheap compared to them, I'm allowed. But still for people whose parents don't want to pay, it does suck, especially since their first US tour was way less expensive. :/ I was also expecting less than $80 for floor tickets. Still I'm happy that I'm able to see them even one more time.
Elissa. Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Aghh, I don't know what to do. I was thinking of going to the Holmdel show, but I don't know if Green Day will be coming closer to me, and Holmdel's kind of far away from where I live... So if we purchase tickets, would we be able to refund them?
Bastard of 1967 Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 I guess now that the shock has worn off it could be worse...I paid over this to see Dylan... Ditto last year (seeing Springsteen in Charlottesville). Green Day's show was far, far better for more than half the price. If y'all have to drop a load of cash to see any rock concert, you'll want to drop it on a Green Day jam -- especially if you haven't had the privilege of seeing them live before. I don't think I'm overstating it to say it's worth every penny you'll ever spend on a rock concert.
farley drexel hatcher Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Are they playing outside venues? I guess they cost more to book than indoor ones. I think the last UK tour was about £35, but the Wembley show was almost £50.
