I'M CONSIDERING GOING TO HOLMDEL. I'LL HAVE TO CONVINCE MY FRIEND AND HER DAD THOUGH.

BUT I REALLY WANT TO NOW TO MEET YOU OMG.

HOLMDEL IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN CAMDEN, I SWEAR. WE'D MAKE SUCH A PAIR, THE FLAPPER AND THE FINK TWINK. I JUST HAVE TO CONVINCE MY MOM TO STAY IN THE CHEAP SEATS SO I CAN BE BY MYSELF FOR A FEW HOURS.

how much do tickets usually cost? Need to know before asking any of my strict parents for money :L

My possiblities: Camden, Darien Center, Holmdel. Darien Center is most likely.

: DDDDDDDDDD

It's just that Holmdel and Camden are both about 5 hours away from me. D; And I will probably be going to Darien Center with my friend, and Camden would be easier because it's right before it. But, ugh. If I go to that friends house who lives in Indiana, we'd probably see them in Michigan. But I'd rather see them around here because of you, Alex, Gabrielle and others. It's just confusing. I can't wait for all the dates.

I'm glad they officially said more dates would be announced. Even though it was obvious because the current list is short, it's still nice to see it officially. And I agree with the last sentence in your post. That would be nice. But I won't bitch anymore. If a date is set up to be somewhere near me, great. If not, oh well. There's always another tour. I was lucky enough to see them one time - that's more than some people can say. I'm fortunate for my first show. It won't be the last one, but if it can't happen this year, so be it.

This is from http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/index.php/2010/03/22/green-day-reveal-summer-dates-of-21st-century-breakdown-tour/

For the trek, Green Day will offer up all-inclusive ticket prices, meaning that no extra fees of any kind will be added on. Plus, at some venues, there will be a limited number of lawn seats priced at $20 when the tix go on sale to the general public. One thing to keep an eye on: Just two dates into the tour, Green Day have allotted themselves a nice four-day break between an August 5th show in Buffalo, New York and an August 9th concert in Alpharetta, Georgia. What’s going on August 6th through 8th, you ask? The Lollapalooza festival in Chicago. Green Day have been rumored to be one of the headliners at the annual fest, so Windy City fans should pencil those dates into their calendar. Lollapalooza will officially announce its lineup on April 6th, per Perry Farrell’s Twitter.

The band promises to add more dates to their initial itinerary in the near future.

Green Day

Aug. 3 Camden, NJ @ Susquehanna Bank Center

Aug. 5 Buffalo, NY @ Darien Lake Performing Arts Center

Aug. 9 Alpharetta, GA @ Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre

Aug. 11 Washington, DC @ Jiffy Lube Live

Aug. 12 Hartford, CT @ Comcast Theater

Aug. 14 Holmdel, NJ @ PNC

Aug. 16 Boston, MA @ Comcast Center

Aug. 18 Toronto, ON @ Molson Canadian Amphitheatre

Aug. 23 Detroit, MI @ DTE Energy Music Theater

Aug. 26 Dallas, TX @ Superpages.com Center

Aug. 28 Denver, CO @ Comfort Dental Amphitheater

Aug. 30 Phoenix, AZ @ Cricket Wireless Pavilion

Aug. 31 Los Angeles, CA @ Verizon Wireless Amphitheater

Sept. 2 Chula Vista, CA @ Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre

That all-inclusive thing sounds nice! As long as they put a fucking date that I could go to...like, August 20 in Cleveland? PLEASE GUYS PLEASE! My friends are even saying my sanity depends on going to see them

There had better be more northeast dates (specifically Pittsburgh), that's all I can say.

Whiny page owns: 1

Edit: Just so it doesn't sound like I'm whining, I feel the need to say that I'm so keen on GD coming here again because Pennsylvania is a larger state, and traveling the whole way to Philly isn't possible for everyone. Jesus fucking Christ, it's not like everyone owns a car, has a license, and has enough money for a hotel and and gas money! We don't all have a nice job or the resources available to give us a good income so we can travel to different places... I mean, correct me if I'm wrong here, but we all are/were teenagers at one point, limiting us to where we can go. And unless Mommy and Daddy were/are 'chaperons', it kind of makes things difficult, correct? I apologize for being so ignorant, but it kind of ticks me off when people think that being kind of upset and wanting something pretty bad means that they're bitchy and a brat.

I think you raise some valid points!

GREEN DAY PLEASE COME TO SAN JOSE.

And fml, now I know for sure, that i'll have school on the concert.

Yes, I may be more upset if Jerry and you guys can't go to SAN JOSE than I am about potentially not going to Detroit!

Ok, not that anyone cares, but next semester (the day I start classes is the day of the show) I have one of the same professors as I do now, and she kind of hinted that she'd be willing to let me leave at 4:31, just record my attendance and I could leave. I could get there before GD plays hopefully, I could miss AFI and not be super bummed. DTE is basically all seats, so if I have a reserved seat, I'll be good. So maybe, I'm not going to give up hope.

But still, a Cleveland date on the weekend or Tuesday the 24th, when I'm done with classes at 2:15 and could leave earlier, would be super! :D

And that would be really nice for your professor to do, it sounds like you might get a lucky break after all! I'm glad too. You're so nice, and you deserve to catch a break. :)

This just made my shitty day amazing. I'm probably going to the Hartford show, and hopefully a FL show if they announce any dates down here! I'm so excited :D

Well, whatever you end up doing, I know where I'll be.

Idk if I can even get away from my mother, my dad makes her paranoid. I'm going to try and see if I can go with a friend/friends and leave her home.

OMG I HAVE TO RE-DYE MY HAIR. WHAT COLOR?

I'm hoping for a Minnesota tour date so I can finally have a set date for my Minnestoa trip, but it looks like those dates might be near the start of school. Luckily I have until April to buy the Dc/Va tickets, by then I hope the rest of the dates will be up. However, I might be joining the boat of picking college courses with tour dates and finding ways to skip the first week of school.

Ok Camden is looking like a possibility. It's only ~$300 round trip, plus the price of the concert ticket... omfg :woot:

Yayy, more tour dates!! I'm pretty sure I couldn't make it to any of the current dates. Possibly the one in New Jersey, but that's kinda far away from me...

I could totally make it to one in Ohio or Indiana though
