Not yet, but i doubt they play lollapalooza. I wouldn't think it'd make sense to start off one east cost then drive/fly over to chicago then back...If they hit the midwest around the Mich date i'd say it would be around Aug 19th-Aug 23 where they would maybe be in chicago/midwest.

aw, but you're right about lollapalooza I didn't think they'd do it. I want a Chicago date, I've been saving up and my parent's keep yelling at me because the fact that I'm saving my money and needing to borrow from them when I need money for food and clothes.

Toronto Canada is the only Canadian date on there so far, but that is fine with me! So excited. I didn't even know there was going to be Canadian dates.

Am I the only one who's pretty upset that these shows in are in ampitheatres which means mostly seating?

-_-

That's true but I don't think you should have a problem as long as you get the presales. Every amphitheater still has a floor, even though it's a lot smaller than an arena or stadium.

Also, there will definitely be more dates. I don't know why anyone would think otherwise.

i don't get it.. there's a show at the verizon wireless center in LA, but i thought that was in Irvine????

I'll be going to the Hartford, CT and Mansfield, MA shows!!! SO EXCITED!

This is from http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/index.php/2010/03/22/green-day-reveal-summer-dates-of-21st-century-breakdown-tour/

For the trek, Green Day will offer up all-inclusive ticket prices, meaning that no extra fees of any kind will be added on. Plus, at some venues, there will be a limited number of lawn seats priced at $20 when the tix go on sale to the general public. One thing to keep an eye on: Just two dates into the tour, Green Day have allotted themselves a nice four-day break between an August 5th show in Buffalo, New York and an August 9th concert in Alpharetta, Georgia. What’s going on August 6th through 8th, you ask? The Lollapalooza festival in Chicago. Green Day have been rumored to be one of the headliners at the annual fest, so Windy City fans should pencil those dates into their calendar. Lollapalooza will officially announce its lineup on April 6th, per Perry Farrell’s Twitter.

The band promises to add more dates to their initial itinerary in the near future.

That's the old Tweeter Center? YUCK! Accoustics are for shit. And getting there from the city can take up to 2 hours depending on traffic. I really hope it's elsewhere.

It's Green Day...that isn't really new in regards to the band. Just make sure you get your hands on General Admission tickets...meaning, buy tickets ASAP.

Agreed and Charter One would be too small. Darn it. I may have to figure out who I know in Tinley and beg a sofa for the night.

I think she means that the amphitheaters don't have a pit, period. In a lot of places like this there's a lawn area way in the back and then the seats go all the way up to the front.

I'm wondering how that sort of place will affect the shows.

I was just reading an article about Arcade Fire and it said this--

"No U.S. shows announced yet, but Arcade Fire are widely rumored to headline this year's Lollapalooza alongside a reunited Soundgarden, Green Day, Lady Gaga, and the Strokes."

I have this Green Day app on my Droid (not an official app, just something that automatically searches for Green Day news), and under events it says Lollapalooza.

Does anyone know how the pre-sale will be done? For example, the show I want to attend (Mansfield Mass.,) it says the presale starts the 24th, which is two days away, and I have no idea how to be included in the pre-sale? Is it through the Idiot Club?
