Dear Green Day,

omg...between NJ.com, LiveNation, and Alternative Press, I have no idea if the date for Holmdel is the 14th or the 4th.

I wish you could tell me an official statement and tell me the dates. I don't care if it's over Twitter or Facebook...just tell me, please.

I love you and I can't wait to see you in New Jersey!!

From your biggest fan,

Joy.

If I can go to any of the shows, I'm gonna need to starve myself for a while. Mountain Dew all month!

That presale is for Idiot members and Citi card holders. The regular presale is on the 26th.

Oh okayy, thank you for informing me, cause i was stressing out cause i was for sure i wasn't going to be able to get anything in 2 days.

And 4 days is not that much time either, but still, it's longer than 2 days.

There's no way that's the full list. It's Green Day, they aren't going to skip the big cities. There aren't any Pennsylvania dates there, and they've never skipped Philly and Pittsburgh that I know of. The lack of NYC makes that list seem a little sketchy to me. When you can sell out Madison Square Garden, why settle for anything less?

It's such bullshit that nobody gives people fair notice for on sale dates anymore. Everyone's poor in this economy, it takes us a while to get money together!

Your welcome and good luck :) I knew this day would come that's why I've been saving since last August haha

I've added the new tour dates to On the Road for discussion of individual shows :). Exciting times are about to hit us!!!

There better be more dates than that. If not, I am going to be VERY depressed. :(

Are those the only dates they're playing? or will more be released?

The closest to me is VA. But I don't know if I'll be allowed to travel that far.

im so glad the SD date is so perfect for me. it won't interfere at all with college.

Am I the only one who's pretty upset that these shows in are in ampitheatres which means mostly seating?

-_-

I don't think that's the full list...WAY to many gaps in between. i think Aug 19-24th could be mainly midwest cities...Hopefully they play first midwest bank in chicago.

Posted

Yeah, i don't see that as being the full list either.

Posted

we need some oklahoma, iowa, nebraska, kansas, and missouri dates

Yeah i'm pretty upset about that :/ But you can stand even though you have a seat.

Anyway i'm going to Hartford Camden and Holmdel

It's not like you can't stand up with seats. Not to mention, don't a lot of places have the ability to remove the rows closest to the stage to create a pit area? At least the theaters I've seen shows at do.

i was thinking that too. i've only seen one other show at the place that they are playing in CT before where they had a standing area and from what i remember it was pretty small.

Well I've been to shows in Camden and Holmdel and those seats are not removable. Seats are seats and yeah of course you can stand but I just enjoy the excitement of being in a crowd rather than having to find my seat.

i'm not a fan of seats, unless its a seat in the front row right by the barrier.... then again those are always EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE.. but it does eliminate the idiots that like to act stupid in the mosh pit :)

theres good and bad to seats lol

has there been anything about Chicago yet!
