I never noticed my Long Island accent till i was in Virginia and people were making fun of me. hahaha...yeah!!! They were like, "You're from the North, right? I'm thinking Jersey?" I was like, oh, shit!! and my sister's co-workers make fun of her cause she has a Jersey accent...I didn't even know that we had Jersey accents! They made fun of the way I said Newark. haha.

Hehe we do that...on the flip side, I am not one of the Virginians with a heavy accent, I sound quite boring actually...somedays I wish I had a bit more of a cute Southern twang

Joy of suburbia. Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 My rommie is from Jersey. She denys it but she says my name funny like Sahrah instead of Sareah if that makes sense...Virginia is awesome, although NOVA should be a different state Virginia is quite awesome. My sister lives in Richmond...in Hienrico county...I know I'm not spelling it right. It was so awesome there! I loved the fact that I could breathe real air and not cough. I wanna go to VCU so bad. Apparently I say Long Island like, Lawn-Guylan. who knows. I say it like that too!! Score for the Northern accents!! xD
Robin105 Posted March 19, 2010 Author Posted March 19, 2010 I have over 400. And I'm putting 300 aside from my tax return. So if they come to Florida I'll be going to that show as well as a NY show.

Robin105 Posted March 19, 2010 Author Posted March 19, 2010 Lucky. Yeah but the shows in August so thats plenty of time to save. I really hope they come to Florida actually more then anything. I really want to go with my best friend. She's never seen them and she's dying to see them.

Yeah. VCU's Film Program is amazing. Hopefully, I will be down there. Yeah...I haven't seen so many trees and grass in all my life. I love the fact that I could walk outside barefoot and go to the 7-11 and the Wawa down the street. and I remember when I was waiting to go to the D.C. concert, I went in my sister's backyard and layed down in the grass and blasted Green Day and nobody said anything...cuase they're were like, no neighbors! I cried when I left Virginia...it was that awesome.

Joy of suburbia. Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 Parts of it are...some of Richmond is pretty sketchy but hey, you're from Jersey, you know all about that haha....you're funny. My sister said that the South Side was really bad...she said it's like, Newark.
saraHsunshine Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 haha....you're funny. My sister said that the South Side was really bad...she said it's like, Newark. Yep. Luckily most of the VCU kids either already know or find our pretty easily where not to go at night or alone...I mean everywhere has its sketchy parts even this lovely Amish/Redneck/Drunkards filled Valley my school is in On topic: Guesses on ticket prices!?

Hopefully ticket prices won't go higher than $50.00. I remember when I went to the concert at Giants Stadium and the prices for that was $35.00. That would be so awesome if it was $35.00 though.
Prisca Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 For LA, would Hollywood Bowl count as an option? I just saw the venue right now and it looks really nice & prestige!
Mari91 Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 Who else here is from the tri-state? We'll all probably end up at the same place when they play here. Right here!!! I'm from Jersey and it would be soo cool to see all of you from the tri-state.... maybe we could take a train/light rail ride to the concert together...or carpool! xD yeah tri-state people!! woot woot! If my sister is not in school we talked about driving up to a NYC show come to new york!! please sarah! Apparently I say Long Island like, Lawn-Guylan. who knows. ahha so do i

green day fantasy Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 I saw a show at Wolstein (back before it was Wolstein) and I really liked the venue. I wish this wasn't an outdoor tour i totally agree. i love the wolstein center and i was hoping they would play there again but maybe they might. i have been there once before it was called wolstein too lol and a couple times after. three years ago i had my high school graduation there and it was really nice.
green day fantasy Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 I bet they'll play at Blossom. I can't see them playing at Browns stadium, I don't think they've had a concert there before. I just hope they make at least one stop in Ohio since they skipped it on the first leg. yeah i really hope they come back to ohio and play at blossom at least. if they do come to cleveland this will be my first time seeing green day lol! i was going to see them last time they were here but the tickets were sold out of course and no one wanted to go with me so im really really hoping they come back here. i dont want to miss out on seeing green day again.

Elissa. Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 That would be awesome if tickets were $35. I could probably go to a couple of shows So my little brother says he wants to come with me...I don't think I should take him. A Green Day concert would be too.....explicit for an 11-year-old.

You would be surprised. There are a good amount of kids at there shows. Just watch a video of EJN from last year. Also there are a few members on here that are 11.
