I was surprised to with how many kids were there. The guy that was seated next to us (I had floor seats) had his 2 sons with him. They were twins and they looked like they were 7 or 8. It was so cute. I wanted to get them up for East Jesus Nowhere but we were to far back (even though we were in the middle of the floor) I can't wait until they announce dates. I really hope I'm able to get pit tickets this time. It is my goal to get up on stage either to be 'saved' or to sing Longview.

I'm not tone deaf so it might be okay, and I could get a Billie hug!
Laura! Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Dude, completely agree, and I hope something similar to this happens too. I want them to come to Detroit before I can't miss school/have to be in Bowling Green! And yes, indoor > outdoor, but as I said earlier, I'd prefer Freedom Hill to DTE! Can't forget Lucas County Arena! That would be easier for both of us. I've never been to Freedom Hill or DTE. But I've heard DTE is really nice too. I could definitely see them going to Blossom Center over near Cleveland.
songbird. Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 I absolutely cannot wait! When they come back around I'm getting floor tickets this time. AND I'll be able to stay as late as I want this time. Hopefully they'll be in Houston during a holiday or summer because I'll be in college then. I wanted to plan a road trip for San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, etc but I guess I won't be able to. :/ Anyway, I'm so excited. x) I told my best friend and my boyfriend and they're stoked.
Robin105 Posted March 16, 2010 Author Posted March 16, 2010 I want to sing Longview so badly! I'm not tone deaf so it might be okay, and I could get a Billie hug! Me too. I have to make sure I get on the barrier though. I had a recent experience in the pit that was horrible. I was 3rd row and it was nuts. So if I'm not on the barrier I'll be watching from a safe distance. And the funny thing was it was at an AFI concert that that happened. But Green Days stage will be much bigger then one at the AFI concert was. Think of it as one section over from the catwalk. Thats how small the pit was.
minorty13 Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I want to sing Longview so badly! I'm not tone deaf so it might be okay, and I could get a Billie hug! Alas, I'm an awful singer, but I'd definetly do it any ways to get a Tre/Billie/Mike/Jason/Freese hug I'm sorry for being off topic... but being a member of the Idiot Club means I'll get an e-mail when presales are available right? I know it's a long ways away but I'm already stressing about getting tickets and travel plans
Laura! Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I want to sing Longview so badly! I'm not tone deaf so it might be okay, and I could get a Billie hug! I just want to get on stage no matter what. I think if I was pulled up to sing I'd get nervous and forget lyrics.
Elissa. Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I could never go up and sing in front of all those people, especially with my heroes standing 5 feet away from me...heheh I'd either be too nervous or too scared.
Prisca Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 ^ How many shows are you planning to catch this time around? You live in LA, don't you? I've been so stingy with my cash now that I know the start date!
CrimsonRegret Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I too am saving my money - floor tickets are needed. I don't think I would want to get pulled up on stage though.. I'd be way too terrified to even think straight let alone remember lyrics and sing!
champagne mami Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I too am saving my money - floor tickets are needed. Ah, yes. I've never been to a concert, but the floor seems a hell of a lot funner than the seats. I mean, if i HAD to be in the seats, i would, but I want floor tickets and I'm going to try my best to get them!
marie. Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I'm really excited. Do you think they'll come back to downstate NY, or maybe go to a place like Bethel Woods or Saratoga Springs since Susquehanna is an amphitheater? I could easily get to Camden, but NY would be easier.
-Billiejoezee- Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 ^ How many shows are you planning to catch this time around? You live in LA, don't you? I've been so stingy with my cash now that I know the start date! I have like 1 gig on mind. But I'm just saving and saving and by the time they say the CA dates, if I have enough for two gigs or three, I'll get them. I need floor tickets. I had seats for two and floor for the carson daly concert. But that one was free. Its not the same watching Green Day for 1 Hour than for 2 + hours.
Joy of suburbia. Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Okay...I have 40 dollars and on Friday I'm getting 50 dollars. That is going right into the Green Day savings account. I need floor tickets so badly...it is my goal. for the last two concerts, I've been up in the nosebleed seats and I can't do it anymore. I need to see Billie's face up close and I wanna get pulled up on stage and sing Longview! That right there...is my lifelong dream.

I feel like taunting you about how gorgeous he is in real life but that s just mean....
Joy of suburbia. Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 You've never seen Billie up close in person?? I feel like taunting you about how gorgeous he is in real life but that s just mean.... haha. yeah, yeah...I know. I need to see him and if I do, I could die happy. Like I could die right after the concert and be truly happy. But then I'll be mad cause I didn't graduate college. anyway...the Green Day account is growing and my American Literature/Creative Writing professor said that he might go to the concert! that would be such a big score...then he cluld take me back to Penn Station and I wouldn't have to take the train at night in Camden. xD
newsflash777 Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I'm so proud of myself $350! No idea how I'm gonna use it all considering my parents probably won't let me go to as many shows as I'd like but it'll be good for tour shirts and merch etc EDIT: WOA! Just realized that I'm somehow logged into my friends account! Just pretend this is minorty13 not luckystar13 k?

Heather! Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I am already kind of stressed about getting tickets.
Robin105 Posted March 17, 2010 Author Posted March 17, 2010 Me too. I really hope I get floor tickets and I hope they don't play Jones Beach! I have no way of getting there!
Joy of suburbia. Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Me too. I really hope I get floor tickets and I hope they don't play Jones Beach! I have no way of getting there! THIS. My parents will never let me go to Jones Beach. My secret dream is like, Central Park...Great Lawn. That wold be awesome...my parents wouldn't mind me going to that one.

Also Nassau Collisium which is 15 minutes away from my house. But I think they may play Citifield or Yankee Stadium which won't be bad. It's just Jones Beach that I'm worried about. ANYWHERE else in NY would be ok but not Jones Beach!
