And, for the people who don't like it. I understand that it's just your opinion and stuff, which is fine with me, but I don't understand why people think that Paramore is so bad? They're good live, and their music's good, and they're clearly a very talented band...

I hate Twilight, but I still love Paramore. I love the song Decode, not because, "OMG It's a Twilight song!" But I like it as a song in general. And it's not like that song can't relate to other things, because it can. It's not just strictly for a movie, and that's what it's like with a lot of Soundtrack songs. Like...21 Guns for example. It was on the Transformers soundtrack. Does that mean that Billie has to be singing about Transformers into his lyrics, just because it's "for" the movie? No. And...idk. I just kinda feel like people think of Paramore as just another pointless teen band. But...really, they are really talented, and they're actually really smart and mature for how young they are, and their music is amazing for how young they are. And...comparing this back to Green Day again. Around Dookie, a lot of people probably did think that, "Ohh..it's just one of those 'in' bands that won't be around for awhile. People will get sick of them..." But they're still a band now aren't they? I understand that there are some people that just don't like Paramore's music style and whatnot, which is fine. But, I also think that some of them just don't give them a chance first. It's really weird though, because I've always thought that it would be SO awesome if Paramore and Green Day played together, and then this happens, and I'm like, lol.

Although I don't like Twilight, I actually didn't mind too much that they did that, because I understand that a lot of people do like Twilight, and actually, it was a good move on their part because they obtained a bigger fan base in the process. And well..there's a difference between those CRAZY annoying Twilight fans, and just the normal ones that just like the books. And I agree. I also think that Paramore stand out. I usually do not like new bands/artists at all. But Paramore...they're different for me. And a lot of people that don't like Paramore will hate me for saying this, but I see some similarities/influences between Paramore and Green Day. This is just one reason why Paramore is a good opening band choice. They'll energize the audience for Green Day, while a lot of their opening bands just like like, "......yawn..." And...I think that there's a good amount of Paramore fans that are also Green Day fans, and vice versa. i really, desperately hope this DOESN'T happen in america. paramore pisses me off so much. edit: just read and figured out they weren't. good. It's of the depressing variety.
