On the show’s soundtrack, produced by Armstrong, Gallagher sings the only unreleased Green Day song included in the 21-song spectacle, “When It’s Time,” and, as on stage, it’s performed by Gallagher alone with a guitar. On the studio recording, he didn’t use just any guitar, but rather an acoustic Gibson from Armstrong’s own collection. “It was really overwhelming,” he says. Judging just from the 21 Guns single and the clip of American Idiot, I was really unsure of what I thought about the musical. But after hearing the whole album, I have decided that I am in love with it and have to see it! Before the Lobotomy [reprise] was amazing where can I listen to all of them?
