Good Riddance (Time of your life) All the way! I can't tell you how much i love this song. The original is very good but i cant get over the milton keynes version.I also know how to play both versions on the guitar.. ive been playing for around 6 years now... most of the songs i play are green day anyway. This is my favourite song of all time! Ive never listened to a song more than this one. The way i interpret the song means a lot to me anyway. I dont want to sound boring but thats how i get attatched to songs, i listen to them and interpret what i think they mean... thats the way i look at songs like this one. I also like 2000 lightyears away, dont get me wrong. Personally i think the song is about dealing with s**t in your life and finding a way to move on, but there is always that thing in the back of your mind that is there to remind you what you went through or just experianced... its sort of a reflection of who you are......

I think that this one is a close call because Good Riddance was put on an album that really showcases evolution. It was a 'new' side of Green Day for mainstream listeners. It has also been greatly over used. 2000 Light Years Away has been a fan favorite and always will be. It is an amazing song and one that is close to Green Day fan's hearts. <3 them both.
