Oh God, this is a toughie....

Who Wrote Holden Caulfield is an amazing song. It's really underrated and they lyrics are really moving, especially to someone who has read A Catcher In The Rye (I haven't, but I really want to). It has always been one of my favourites off Kerplunk.

Minority, however, is a song I grew up with. I first heard it when I was 9, and it was my favourite song ever. I learned all the words to it and it was my no. 1 green day song. I was young then, and I didn't know all of green day's albums, so obviously my favourite song has changed since then, but it was always I song I could relate to, since I was always different to my peers.

This one's gonna be tough....

These choices are so tough! And I can only guess they're going to get even tougher as the polls go on. As much as I LOVE both songs, I had to go with Minority. Like other people have said, it's one of the first songs I heard/grew up with, so the lyrics really moved me (even though the lyrics to WWHC are reeeeeally good too).

I personally think of Minority as being GDC/GDA's theme song. When he says "authority" in the song I just think Green Day Authority every time

I was half expecting to see Who Wrote Holden Caulfield winning. I thought it was another one of those songs that you wouldn't really expect to have that many big fans, but in fact has a freakishly high number of big fans on here. But I suppose Minority is just too fabulous.

Though I know that Who Wrote Holden Caulfield is Billies favourite song I´ll go with Minority. It´s just a classic. It gives me comfort to listen to it whenever I feel like an outsider. Because the song delivers the message that there´s a community of people like me feeling excactly the same.

I read it because I heard that is one of Billie's favorite books, and you know what, i hate it... Honesty I loved it.. first, but I finished the book, and I couldn't even sleep. It is one of the hardest most touching books, I've ever read, but I read a lot... anyway. I love this book, but in a weird way. This boy in the book is so weird.
