You said it. I love EJN but it is not as special (if that is the word). It is a brilliant song but I don't think it needs to be in the top ten best Green Day songs of all time by any means.

yeah, I agree. East Jesus Nowhere is good, but it's not one of GD's best songs. Going To Pasalacqua is the best off of 1039 in my opinion and one of their best songs in general.
