And then probably breakdown into tears after trying to tell him how much Green Day, and especially Billie Joe have changed my life completely.

I'm sure it's not the first time someone said it too him. That's so cool that you met him in his own neighbourhood! I think meeting them in a situation like that would be the hardest 'cause they're just being normal people.

Hanner Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 well this kinda happened before the AI musical for me. first with Mike. i didnt do anything, i just stood there and watched him, but not in a creepy stalker way haha. but he looked like he was trying to go to where he was going in a hurry. then with Billie. it was just as he was walking in the room in the hallway thing, so nobody was there at the time cept for me and a couple other people. honestly i was frozen and in shock, and i couldnt keep my eyes off him and i think i creeped him out a lil. but if it happened again on the street somewhere then i think i would just wave and smile. but i hate bothering people in general so theres no way i would go up to him and say somthing hahaha.

I´d be incredibly nervous so I wouldn´t be able to do anything at first. But then I think I´d pull myself together and go and talk to them. Ask them what they were doing here and tell them that I´ve been a fan for a long time. Then I´d probably ask them for an autograph or a picture and let them go their ways. I´d be the luckiest girl on the planet if that really happened one day

I sort of froze after that and couldn't really say anything else I was going to ask him to sign one of my Green Day books that I had with me, but he was with Joey so I decided no to; I didn't want to disturb him any more. And I probably terrified them enough with my presence

And I'd be like "Hey guys, can I please take a picture with you?" Or whatever Green Day member it was. Because I've been having a few dreams now that I got to take a picture with Billie and then I made it my Facebook profile picture. Haha. And then I'd just tell them how much they mean to me and that I was at the meet and greet/concert in Fargo. And they've only been to Fargo once so they would know And if they seemed laid back at the time and not in a hurry or fed up or anything...I would ask for a hug. Then I'd say "See ya later" and once they're out of sight........I would freak out and probably faint. Lol. Then I'd call everyone I know.
Smoothed Out Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 I would like to think I would be dead confident and wander up to them and be very polite in explaining how much they mean to me (without sounding stalkerish) On the other hand, back in reality, me being my dopey shy self would probably end up hiding in the bushes then following them until I lose sight and realising the oppurtunity has gone right down the toilet. Or just faint and wake up in a cold sweat. Or run the other way.
Thececilie Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 i would proberly freeze... but i my dreams, i would walk over to them (or him) ask for picture/hug/autograph. after that i would tell them how much i love their music and kind of see were it goes. if we get a nice talk started, i would just keep on talking. ask about some things i always wonder about and stuff like that. if they seem like they rather just wanted to go on with their own matters, i would kindly say thanks and just walk away. and after all that i would probertly faint XD
