petros Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Oh comme on these songs are both great but I'm sory if O have to choose I'd definetly say Jesus Of Suburbia!!
Alan86 Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I also believe both songs are great but Jesus of suburbia is just on a different level of great. It's an iconic song.
**nobodylikesyou** Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 You'd be surprised. A lot of the reasons you listed for it being great, are the reasons that some people hate Green day now. people hate green day because they write emotional epic songs? hahah then they must be fucktards. Jesus of Suburbia
saraHsunshine Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Love JAR but I mean JOS was groundbreaking for today's world. It brought the bar back up to a level American bands have not strived for since all the best musicians ODed and died

Annie, get your gun Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Jesus Of Suburbia FOREVER!!!!!!!!!! J.A.R. is a really great song, but anyway... I love J.O.S.!!!!
Nzap Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Will the results be published then afterwards to see how big a win/how close it then really was, or will that be kept as a secret? EDIT: Oh, there was a button beside the voting. Stupid Stupid EDIT2: And the results came up after voting. How brain dead can I be? Also are there only 16 songs that were chosen? I thought it would be 32?
AnnA™ Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Yeah, I'll have to go with Jesus of Suburbia in this one.
Trotsky Posted February 26, 2010 Author Posted February 26, 2010 At midnight, this vote will close (with JOS as the winner, I'm sure) Tomorrow's vote will be Going to Pasalacqua vs. East Jesus Nowhere, which I hope will be an intense showdown compared to this.
champagne mami Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Jesus of Suburbia, no doubt. J.A.R. is a good song, but Jesus is just...
idc Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Hahahaha it's going to get so much worse. oh no please .... At midnight, this vote will close (with JOS as the winner, I'm sure) Tomorrow's vote will be Going to Pasalacqua vs. East Jesus Nowhere, which I hope will be an intense showdown compared to this. that is going to be hard xD
Chelsea Hotel Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I voted for JOS...but I really hope JAR wins. XD Tomorrow's vote will be Going to Pasalacqua vs. East Jesus Nowhere, which I hope will be an intense showdown compared to this. Oh my God.
Valkin Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 "This song's for everyone who took the train here tonight, this song's called Jesus of Suburbia" There is my vote
cherylr Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 As with most others, I love both but had to vote for JOS. How could I not vote for a song with such lines as "there's nothing wrong with me, this is how I'm supposed to be", or "in the space between insane and insecure." I've used that second one as my facebook status, but no one really gets it.
gabbag Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Ughh I love them both but I had to go with Jesus of Suburbia
misslyssx Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 "This song's for everyone who took the train here tonight, this song's called Jesus of Suburbia" There is my vote Haha I love it. JOS is my vote also. Although I love J.A.R come on, its Jesus of Suburbia. Of course its gonna win

Just Kate Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 i really love JAR but damn, i vote for Jesus Of Suburbia
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 As with most others, I love both but had to vote for JOS. How could I not vote for a song with such lines as "there's nothing wrong with me, this is how I'm supposed to be", or "in the space between insane and insecure." I've used that second one as my facebook status, but no one really gets it. haha, I once wrote on a table on school "Am I retarded or am I just overjoyed". no one got it, I only got responses that said "retarded" and the like and Going to Pasalacqua vs East Jesus Nowhere? D: oh well, guess I'll just go with the one that stayed on my list for the longest time.
Johannamunter Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 This is a pretty easy choice for me because Jesus of Suburbia is one of my absolutely favourite songs
