May 15th last year was one of the most exciting days of my life because i got into green day beginning 2007 so i waited since then for the album...as i t finally came out i listened to it concentrated and just was lying on my bed and being totally blown away....i listened to it the following months like always..and so did i before i went to see them live on october 5th.....im still in love with it but my thoughts before it came out that it will not beat american idiot are true in my opinion.....american idiot still is my fav album but 21st cb is amazing =) its just a lil too long like too many songs on it and even though i liek calm grenn day songs, there are a lil too many of them on it....but it also has a few of my fav green day songs of all on it like peacemaker,both viva la glorias or restless heart syndrome........as i first heard !viva la gloria! i was the most blown away by a song i had ever been..just amazing..i still think they should have picked another song than know your enemy as first single but that doesnt matter....its a great album and i love it =) -whooo..thats hard....but i think i have to say restless heart syndrome ♥

I really dis-like it.I think the album is boring and really doesn't pull out to me,it's by far the WORST album but not that bad compared to music today I wanted something a little more like Insomniac.... It showcases the culmination of their entire career. In my opinion, the music on Breakdown is very Green Day-influenced, if that makes sense. Every song is so current, so incredibly modern. I think people living in today's world can relate perfectly to the album. It stands out amongst other contemporary music because the guys in Green Day are fully passionate about what they do. They want to create outstanding songs that challenge people to actually think, and question the rules of present day life. Your favourite song off the record: 21 Guns
