What you think of 21st Century Breakdown: One of the best Green Day albums, its not the best but it is one of my personal favourites, some of the songs are so beautiful and some have the ability to reduce me to tears, the lyrics are just simply gorgeous

Your favourite song off the record: I can't choose one just one :/, 21 Guns, restless heart syndrome, east jesus nowhere

What you think of 21st Century Breakdown: I think it is a great album. It's very diverse, and a great follow-up to American Idiot. It tells a story, but leaves a lot of space to fill in your own thoughts and version of the story, and it perfectly reflects what (life in) 2009 was like. The lyrics are, well, awesome. A lot of double meanings, and gorgeous rhyming here and there. Most of the lyrics are very topical. Musically I really like it too, it's experimental and diverse, and there isn't a single song I don't like. The songs individually are already really good, but in the whole of the album, it gets something extra added to it, which enhances it even more.

Your favourite song off the record: I really cannot choose only one, it's a tie between 9 (!) songs, there isn't one (or several) song(s) that particularly jumps out.

What do you think of 21st CB?

I love it. But it doesn't beat American Idiot. It has a few crap songs, such as Christian's Inferno and Restless Heart Syndrome. American Idiot didn't have any bad songs. The lyrics are awesome, but I don't think that the album sounds that good. The sound is very polished, and sometimes boring. All the background stems behind Billie's voice makes the record sound a bit too good, if you know what I mean. But I guess that's how most mainstream records sounds these days. American Idiot had it too, but not that much. Anyways, the great songs like "21st Century Breakdown", "Know Your Enemy", "21 Guns", "East Jesus Nowhere", "American Eulogy" and "Static Age" sound a lot better live. If you haven't heard Green Day live, you haven't heard Green Day.

Your favourite song off the record:

It changes all the time, but right now it's American Eulogy. A true masterpiece.

What you think of 21st Century Breakdown:I think that 21stCB is a very good album, probably the best album of Green Day.It has so many different types of songs with strong lyrics and beautiful music. The story of Christian and Gloria is very interesting.I think that this album is a very good continuity of their former album American Idiot.21stCB is a pure rock album and it will stay in history.

Your favourite song off the record:East Jesus Nowhere.

What I think is that 21st Century Breakdown is a good record. Not my favorite one, but not my least favorite one. It has a good sound, it tells us that Green Day have many ideas. But we cannot say that it's a rock record, the dookie-era is very far. Too many pop songs, and sometimes melodies are recycled. I'm thinking of American Eulogy (Deadbeat Holiday) and The Static Age (Church On Sunday). The Static Age and Know Your Enemy have the same bridge, same chords. I have to say that there are also beautiful songs. If I had to express a mark, I'll give it 7/10.

Favorite songs:

1. 21st Century Breakdown

2. The Static Age

3. Before The Lobotomy

What you think of 21st Century Breakdown: A very good album that you really have to listen a couple of times until you get the songs the way they are meant to be understood. Here are many songs that need the 20+listens to begin to be good, but after those 20 times you never want to let go. The pacing of the album is good, you never get too much of the same stuff over and over again. Perhaps it wasn't the best idea to put VlG! and BTL after each other with the similar kinds of beginnings but who cares. I have to admit that I think this is not their best album, but it's certainly in my top 5 Green Day albums which means that it really kicks some ass (BTW the other 4 are AI, Insomniac, Warning and Kerplunk). The songs don't really get old, and if they do, you listen to the other 17 songs and after a day or two the "old" song is awesome again. The depth of the album and the songs is amazing.

Your favourite song off the record: Hard to say one but I think American Eulogy is the best

What you think of 21st Century Breakdown:

I find the record the best work after American idiot, though it hasn`t s something that GD did before. i had to listen to the some songs about 5 times to get used to their sounding, i couldn`t believe to such a big changing first time. to such as: Last night on earth, restless heart syndrome, peacemaker (although it`s definitely like Misery) , horseshoes and handgrenades. there`re many pop songs here also, about half, i don`t know why but i love them. Probably they have really great lyrics, as usual GD has.

Your favorite song off the record:

1. 21 Guns

2. Viva La Gloria!

3. Restless Heart Syndrome

What you think of 21st Century Breakdown: well it's a great album, but at the same time it can't beat AI which was an incredible work of art.this album has become more melodic than AI.but AI was really great because of its dark enviroment.it is a dark album to me and I love that.it was easier to understand but in 21st CB billie joe showed off his abilities in writing songs and kicking ass.

Your favourite song off the record:

1. 21 guns

2. East Jesus Nowhere

3. Restless Heart Single

What you think of 21st Century Breakdown: Well, on first listen I thought it was amazing and I even cried when i heard !Viva La Gloria! because I thought it was so beautiful. The more I listen to it the more I fall in love with it, every single listen makes me love it more, even after all this time when usually I would be bored after so many listens, then again i don't think I'll ever be bored of Green Day. I don't know whether I think its better that American Idiot or not, I love both albums so much and both have amazing songs for me and songs that perhaps not as good (Christian's Inferno..) Basically it is an absolutely fantastic album. :)

Your favourite song off the record:Gosh, errrr, it changes a lot, but at the minute !Viva La Gloria! and 21 guns. Maybe. I think.

What You Think Of 21st Century Breakdown: I think it was awesome that Green Day decided to make kinda a 'follow-up' to American Idiot. And I think it's even more awesome that it's talking about the state of the whole country, if not even other countries in the world.

Your Favorite Song Off The Record: The Static Age, no questions asked.

What you think of 21st Century Breakdown: I believe that 21st CB is another wonderful album by Green Day. They're growing up with every album they're making, since Dookie. They're chancing like every person changes during his life but in a special way they're still the same. I love the new album, even if I believe that no album on earth can be huge like American Idiot. I love old Green Day, I love Dookie and Insomniac. But American Idiot is a real rock opera. Huge, awesome, amazing. Now in 21st CB there are a lot of wonderful songs which are more complex than the previous songs. They're trying new types of instrument (the piano is really important!) and new "sonority" (does this word exist in english?! I don't really know). It's the right album that could follow AI. I'm just afraid that a lot of young people are listening to Green Day's new songs without knowing their prewious history. They say: "woow I totally love 21st CB, they're my fav band etc etc" but they still don't know songs like "Christie Road" or "Going to Pasalacqua" or "Disappearing Boy". It's a pity. It's not GD guilt, it's a guilt of new generations, which are totally uncultured! Before listening to GD you should listen to Ramones, Clash, Bad Religion and also to Operation Ivy!! Listening to old punk rock bands can make us conscious of what GD are now, of their long way to the top, of their music. It's very important.

Your favourite song off the record: Viva La Gloria!

I myself found 21st Century Breakdown a slight let down. When I first heard the album I was excited, and loved it but after hearing it more and more I found the songs didn't lift me as their past music had. I enjoy a few songs off the album but in all honesty I was a tad disappointed with it. Green Day still have the catchy riffs and flowing lyrics and well written storyline but not as catchy, flowing and well written as American idiot had been. I hate to admit this because i LOVE Green day but when a song off the album would come on I'd find myself moving as quickly as possible to change the song as I just didn't want to listen to it.

What you think of 21st Century Breakdown: It wayyy different than everything from the past, but its still incredible. It just goes to show you that Green Day could do anything and it would be awesome. 21st Century Breakdown is definatly one of my favorite albums from them and I think they're going to continue to wow us with future albums.

What do you think of 21st Century Breakdown?: Awesome album, it doesn't top American Idiot but it is an amazing follow up to it. However 21st Century Breakdown is Green Day's best album lyrically.

What do you think of 21st Century Breakdown? It´s a masterpiece and not comparable to anything else that came out in the past years. Each song is incredibly creative and the whole album gives a big picture of our century including everything moving and important. Moreover, it shows clearly how much GD advanced as artists and musicians over their career.

Your favourite song from the record: Viva La Gloria (Little Girl)

What you think of 21st Century Breakdown: One of Green Day's best by far. There's so much variety, so you cannot find a song you're not in love with. There were a number of songs that completely blew me away and left me feeling amazed. An absolute masterpiece of an album, there is so much meaning to each song, different people with different theories. Each song shows an emotion people feel during this difficult time; A song like Horseshoes and Hand grenades show the anger we feel, 21 Guns shows us when we feel small and hopeless, then songs like Before the Lobotomy and The Static Age express how we feel confused and lost. An amazing album that can be related to from every level.

Your favourite song off the record: Before The Lobotomy.

What you think of 21st Century Breakdown:I think it's a really great follower for AI. With this record they once again showed that they grew up.An album divided in acts in something I haven t seen before but I like the idea. With fast songs like Christian's Inferno and know your enemy they showed their sense for fast good music. Restless heart syndrome shows the deep of their songs once again. In American Eulogy Mike sings an amazing part of GD again. To sum up: I really like it even if it's not my favorite (that's still Warning ;))

Your favourite song of the record: The static age

I hope this can help :)
