Sorry, I just found this thread... when was this sexuality thing brought up? I really have no idea what you're talking about & I really would like to know :D

I mean... what was the context... someone asked him or what? (:

It was referred to in this NRJ interview. The question comes up around 3:45. Their response is pretty hilarious.

gah. I remember this now  it would have been nice if they had said something else; but the question wasn't for something too deep though.

thanks for the video :D

& GOD! Billie was driving me crazy with all his "uhm... y'know... idk" lol

I just love at the begining of the answer (3:54) how Mike cover his face, Billie just crack up laughing and Tre smile at Billie XD.

I've seen it before, but thanks for posting that

I'm pretty sure Tre is, but Mike isn't, really not. In my opinion. So that's all.

i agree lol. i think tre is too

I honestly doubt that Mike and Tre' aren't straight. Just because one jokes about liking the same sex doesn't mean that they enjoy sucking another guys man meat.

Do you think Mike and Tre are the same? I mean, Mike seems more normal than Tre. Btw you are right, that doesn't mean that.

I still think Tre is bi. :whistle

^ Me too, but agrue with me if you want xD

Why do people care? I mean, they're musicians. Sexuality shouldn't really matter, right?

I think people tend to think of Tre as bi and not Mike because of his crossdressing, his fondness for kissing Billie.... He's just a bit camp in general. .

Of course that all indicates nothing definite except that Tre is a hilarious dude and clearly doesn't give a shit how he comes off. :D

People care about any and everything when it comes to these three men. You must know that. :)

Why are people arguing with us, if we wanna talk about anything else and not about their music. C'mon, Don't say, that you don't care. I know, everybody cares about their sexuality, about their habbits, dunno why, stupid kiddy thing, but I don't care, I'd like to talk about their sexuality... that's it

Because it makes the sad gay and lesbians(like me at some point) feel better.

The fact that Tre is flamboyant, etc, doesn't tell us anything about his sexuality. The way Mike acts doesn't tell us anything about his sexuality either. The only way know know anything about Billie, Mike or Tre's sexuality, is if they decide to tell us something about it.

As has already been said, the lead singer of Pansy Division said in his book that back when the bands toured together he asked Tre if any of the band we're gay, and Tre said they weren't gay but bisexual. Of course he said it years ago and it's not clear whether he was talking about the whole band, himself, or Billie. But that's a reason to be believe they might be bi, whereas their jokey antics and dressing in drag has nothing to do with it.

Either way it obviously isn't an issue for them, and that's makes them so cool

So true--every little thing about each of them is interesting thinks I. I know that makes me over on the obsessive side regarding gd, but i think many of the folks on here would fall in that catagory. There are worse things to be obsessed about.

Whatever their sexuality--I think it's great that they obviously champion choice and that they are voices against discrimination because of sexual orientation. I applaud that. Too many people are afraid to take a stand because of what others will think of them. GD doesn't seem to care. I really am striving to be like that in my own life--just in general being able to always stand up for what I believe in without anyone else's opinion mattering and to keep reminding myself that silence is the same as consent. It's one of the reasons i admire the band so much.

I'm glad that this thread is not an arguing thread, everybody says good things, and that makes me happy.

^Hermione, I didn't hear it before thanks for posting that.

Did it really seem like I was initiating an argument?

noobs

Can we get over this sexuality thread? I mean, there aren't recent news or interviews from the boys, so it's pointless, to a certain extent.

I don't see this discussion leading anywhere.

Well there will be the new Out interview soon...why do disscusions always have to lead anywhere anyway? If you don't want to talk in the thread you don't have to look at it. :)

200 posts for a "reference". Good grief.

I don't get the point of this thread because someone is trying to define Billie Joe sexuality from that article.

There is a sexuality thread in the general section, if someone want to talk about that, but betting on Billie Joe sexual preferences is just a symptom of bad taste, imo.

He hasn't talked about that for years, if he will return on the issue in the OUT magazine, then there will be something to discuss about. But atm I don't see this discussion being so relevant.

I really don't think it matters about your sexuality. I'm straight, but i haven't anything against Bi's, Gays or Lesbians. (:

Billie can believe what he wishes. If he believes we're born bisexual, then he can believe that. (:

Everyone at my school seems to think being bisexual is bad. When it isn't, its completely normal.

To me there isn't a difference between Gays, Lesbians, Bi's or Straights. We're equally the same.

There is nothing to define about Billie he just put it very clear in that interview, back then.

We were just commenting about the interview at the beginning but now most of the messages are spam anyways.

I think it's not a spare thread, okay I know he/they doesn't/don't say anything about their sexuality nowadays, but does it really matter? Why can't we talk about old things? And I think this is nothing to do with this article, it's only how to start the discussion. Btw, I've already told everything what I wanted, you know what do I think about them...

im now proud to say that om bi... but it where first when i read what billie thinks (a year ago i think) and i most say that i tottally agree with billie.

when it comes to tre and mike, i must say that i think theyre both biseksual... tre have just said that they are all pretty gay, and since they all have children and mike is married i would say that it means that they are bi.

but im looking forward to see what it says in the out magazine...

^Thececilie do you think, will be anything about their sexuality in OUT magazine ? I really hope that Billie says something about that, but I don't think so..
