Sarahnade. Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Well..if it's tomorrow, and nothing's been announced about Green Day being there, doesn't it kind of seem like they won't be doing it? I've seen it advertised a lot, and so many big names listed, and I kept waiting for Green Day, but no.It's something I wish they would do, though. Like Live 8 and the Katrina thing. But with touring, and the Grammy's coming up this weekend, maybe they're too busy..? But I'm sure they support it, and may have donated to the victims, etc.
Sharmellow Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Oh...When I saw this thread, I was like: OMG, Green Day's performing? But they're apparently not. This is kind've a let down tbh. Anywho, I'll reply the same thing as many others have stated:It would be awesome if they took part in it.
misslyssx Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 But That doesn't make sense..If the concert is to help Haiti = giving money It should be like a concert that people would pay to see, and not like that... I don't really see the point It's not really a concert ... artists are performimg so you'll want to watch and call to donate money.
Lyz Z Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 They would do it if they weren't on tour, I think. That's the kind of great guys they are. (:
Nikki_Nimrod Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 That's awesome. It definitely is the kind of thing Green Day would do, considering all the benefit shows they've participated in before...but i'd have to agree that they probably won't, considering it's tomorrow and we haven't heard anything yet. :/ But who knows, they could send a live feed of something...I'm not gonna get my hopes up though. But I'm sure if they didn't have so many things going on right now they would in a heartbeat!
amy_runs Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 I could see Green Day doing this. That would be really cool.
Deathwish. Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 They would probably do it.But concert is like tomorrow though? :/

Deathwish. Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 They most likely will. Oh well... I wasn't going to watch it. Have to work tonight.
Sarahnade. Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 I don't think they will be since it's tonight and they haven't been confirmed to be there.
