Guest Shangri-La Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 if it weren't for the Laurie L story I would have never gone to the new years show
Mellyboots Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I love this album. I don't think there's even one song I don't like on it.
Ingrid Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Oh wow, I wasn't even three months old when this was released! hahaThis was the very LAST Green Day album I got, and it was a pain in the ass for me to find as well at the time, so I remember being unbelievably happy when I was finally able to put it in my cd-player and hear 2,000 Light Years Away blasting through my speakers..! I'll try to listen to the whole album later tonight in honour of it now officially being the same age as me
JadedGirl84 Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 This is one of my very favourite Green Day albums. I've owned it for about 11 years now and I keep coming back to it. I never get sick of it. It has so many memories but still feels so relevant and new. There isn't one song that I don't love. Just awesome.
Sharmellow Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 I feel so old and young at the same time.Anyway, happy birthday to this amazing album.
Deathwish. Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Happy birthday album! You're an awesome one!
Angie-Marie Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 I don't think I'll ever get sick of Kerplunk. I didn't get to hear it for the first time until I was able to get it off the internet. I remember when Dookie was big, the record store by my house had a copy of Kerplunk for sale and I really wanted it but they were charging $40 for it. A little pricey when you're only getting $2 a week for an allowance. So I didn't get to hear it until years later, but it was well worth the wait.
bjrules Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Even though I'm really late, Happy Birthday to Kerplunk! I can remember searching for this CD everywhere for about 2 years, and then one day on a holiday I saw it and quickly brought it. It was so worth the wait, every song on this album is fantasic, but my favourites would have to be Who Wrote Holden Caulfield?, One for the Razorbacks, One of my Lies, Christie Road and No One Knows.Even though I'm really late, Happy Birthday to Kerplunk! Tiffx Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 This album kicks fucking ass. It took me a while to find a hard copy but I eventually did. I listen to it almost ever day, every song is genius.
