Comedy & Tragedy Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Ah they should have pranked Joan Jett and the Blackhearts! I would have been there at all. It would have been cool if the pranked Paramore in Marlay as well. It wasn't their last night, but who would pass off an opportunity to prank Paramore?

About 2:40 into this: Guys with kilts on and bagpipes and stuff came on stage and were playing while Franz Ferdinand were playing their song. Toilet paper started spraying up into the air. Loud pops were going off throughout their set that just didn't belong, like someone was testing pyro stuff or something without any pyro going off. It was weird. Everything made sense to me when those guys came on stage and everything started being trashed. It was all to screw with them. It was really great.

They pranked Blly Tallent as well, they set of a pyro during their set and the singer nearly shat himself. The pyrotechs face was hillarious he was shaking his head and panicking and there were two dudes with heavy duty laptops running around mikes side at the barrier during the set changeover having to reprogram all the pyros because Tre set them off randomly and fucked up all the synching for the rest of the show XD

When Billy Talent was on stage, during the song 'Rusted From The Rain', there was a big explosion, all of a sudden: the guys got scared at first but then started laughing. Same thing happened to Paramore during the song 'Pressure'. Tre Cool did all that lol

When I saw them do Franz Ferdinand they did several pyro pops throughout the set and then did the Scottish band playing the bagpipes, etc (because Franz Ferdinand is Scottish) and they toilet papered the stage while they were playing. More than single pops had to have been done to Paramore and Billy Talent.

But the pranks they did to Franz Ferdinand, Prima Donna and all the other bands were done after a month of touring together. That was the first night Billy Talent opened for them and second night for Paramore. it's not like they got to hang out and stuff. Maybe that's why. It would have made more sense if they had pranked Joan Jett and her band since she got to open the major part of the european tour.

Why did they prank 30 Seconds to Mars? that's so random Don't know for sure, but feels like because it was the last show and 30STM's last (although first too) show. So pranking seems appropriate. Feel free to tell me I'm wrong/crazy. I wasn't there and am totally just guessing.
