I admire most of the people who have the guts to get up there and sing, good or horrible. As long as they are entertaining, it's all good. I do hate it when they don't know the words, but I think a lot of people who probably thought they knew them forget them when faced with the audience, bright lights, and Green Day in their faces.

The boring ones suck, though.

I would never get up there....I am quite sure I would both forget the words AND be boring.

Some people definitely qualify as dumbasses...the makeout girl at MSG, the hardhat idiot at MSG, the girl who never intended to sing but just wanted to hug the bandmembers.

After reading about a show in San Fran in Sept. 05, it confirmed that the whole "Get your ass off my fucking stage!" is just a sort of catchphrase he uses because the guy he said it to was great and apparently part of one of the best bands they had on stage all tour.

He said it more than once to the little kids he "saved" at the shows I went to!

thats what annoys me a bit about billie joe. it was a once in a lifetime moment for this girl, all she wanted to do was to take a picture to remember it by, and he swore at her and told her to get off the stage. id be a bit annoyed if i were her.

I'd be more than annoyed I'd be crushed! But if the girl was listening to anything the man said a few minutes before she came onstage she should have known better. I do feel a bit of sympathy though

As for criticizing fans who take the opportunity to hug or kiss Billie Joe - how many times has Billie grabbed hold of and kissed fans on stage without asking permission??? I'm pretty sure he's fine with it, it's all in good fun.

I remember watching when they were on Fuse and they played St. Jimmy and Billie gave the mic to a fan and he didn't know any of the words. He was just making noise and i just laughed at the failure.

Yeah I ended up finding it. There's no way you can say no to Billie. I mean, no matter how redic his request is. Remeber the guy in Riding in Vans with Boys? He let Billie fucking brand his ass! If he had said no, Billie would have been like "C'mon you weak mother fucker!"

Plus, that kid seriously needed a haircut. I thought it was a girl at first.
