**She** Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Great news. Thanks for telling us.Do they have to play 21 guns? Because it's the song they are nominated for? Does anyone know if / when it's aired in Germany?Edit: I did a bit of research myself: Pro7 aires it LIVE at 2.00 am on Mo, 01.Feb.2010.I am definately going to watch this!Source: prosieben.de (if you look for it, you have to look through the program for Sunday, 31.01.)
novacaine_kid Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Cool, gives me a reason to watch this thing now
Anja Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Excellent news. Even though I won't be able to watch it live
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Wooooo that's awesome Ah, I really hope Dutch TV will air it.Thanks for posting.Haha, yesterday I said somewhere that they probably won't perform on the Grammy's because it would have been announced if they were. I love to be wrong xDAnd it's like 2 weeks after my test week so I won't have too much important stuff to do, so I think I can stay up for it too, if they broadcast it.
Laura! Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Now I'm definitely going to watch it. Great news!
valentinesandcigs Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Green day performing on my birthday perfect. Now theres a reason to watch it
poisonoak Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 yes!!!green day performance makes every shitty award show more interesting to watch!
Hermione Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Fantastic news! Do East Jesus Nowhere please, Green Day.I do love 21 Guns live, though, so I wouldn't object to them doing that. Just love EJN more.
The Disappearing Boy Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 again, i hope they play something better than 21 guns.
poisonoak Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 hope they do ejn! think they only played it once at the vmas, whereas 21guns and kye has been played a few shows, but itd be better if it is 21cb :whistling:
Guitar4Girl Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Cool, can't wait to see them perform. Hopefully they'll perform something a little different to previous award shows
*withoutadoubt* Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Do we have a full list of the performers yet?I don't think there's a full list yet - this is what was posted yesterday: The GRAMMYs will officially announce more performers for the 52nd GRAMMY Awards tomorrow morning! Previously announced: Beyoncé, Black Eyed Peas, Lady Antebellum, Maxwell, and Taylor Swift. Follow our Twitter for a peek at some of tomorrow's big names! And then this morning, this: SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Current GRAMMY® Award nominees the Dave Matthews Band, Green Day, Lady Gaga, P!nk, and the Zac Brown Band are the latest performers announced for the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards telecast. They join previously announced performers and nominees Beyoncé, the Black Eyed Peas, Lady Antebellum, Maxwell, and Taylor Swift.
Guitar4Girl Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 I'll look forward to seeing Lady Gaga's crazy performance then too
farley drexel hatcher Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Fantastic news! Do East Jesus Nowhere please, Green Day.I do love 21 Guns live, though, so I wouldn't object to them doing that. Just love EJN more.Same Better yet they could surprise us all and finally perform 21CB at one of these things! XD
Spider Tre Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 sweet i got a feeling they're gonna be one of the last performers though :\
Isabel Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Awwh, the 31st of January will be the 5th anniversary of the first time I saw them! I'll definitely watch it
HoneyDo666 Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 21CB would be fantastic! Green Day are good at being really different from all the other performers, we know they can knock it out of the park! And KOL won't be performing because they're on a 6 month hiatus! So maybe the Recording Academy will reward Green Day for being there!Maybe that will affect the People's Choice Awards too...I hope our boys surprise us...Static Age or Viva La Gloria! Preview of next single?
