Lauren Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 My second show was July 21st, 2009, once again, in Philly. It was an AMAZING show. After all the years of waiting it was so emotional to finally see them again. My love for them grew x1000 in between the last show and this one, which made it all the more special. I had a great seat and could see perfectly (not a mosh pit girl yet). The best moment of the night was during Shout - Billie got wrapped around his earpiece wire. At first I couldn't tell what the hell he was doing, he was just spinning around frantically, lol. Finally he was like "I'm stuck!" So sweet.I remember the earpiece thing! To be honest, though, I thought Philly was pretty weak setlist wise (compared to other shows) and I was mad that I got the same setlist at the next show I went to (except for the 2 acoustics at the end). I remember saying I'd be really disappointed if I got the same setlist in Las Vegas. but, I didn't. Las Vegas's setlist was pretty sweet.

I had REALLY good seats as well and Tre and me made eye contact/did silly gestures to each other etc, etc, etc <333The second time I was at the barrier and I had mikes corner! OMG. the songs, the energy. just everything was so fucking perfect! 'last show of the decade' too! : Dand I managed to get two Mike Dirnt picks and bucket loads of confetti. :wub:

JadedGirl84 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I've seen them five times.March 2005 in Brisbane, December 2005 in Sydney, December 2009 in Brisbane, and twice in Sydney in December 2009. Every time was so amazing. I think the final show in Sydney 2009 was the best as they played Pasalaqua and 2000 Light Years. So amazing. When I saw them in 2005 in Sydney, I saw Tre behind the stage before the show and he waved at me and my friend.

Once in Paris, it was amazing except that I thought I had bought a standing ticket but I ended up in a seat Green Day cheered me up though. The second was in Dublin, it was even better which I didn't think could be possible. I was 3 people from the mainstage and 3 people from the catwalk so it was a great spot. I can't help thinking "the second day is always better than the first."

Emmalee Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I've seen them 3 times. First time in Brisbane and then their two shows here in Auckland a week and a half later. Planning that trip to Australia must have been the best decision I've ever made, because that first show was so incredibly surreal and it still feels more like a dream than anything that actually happened for real. But it prepared us for the next shows and gave us even more freedom just to completely enjoy every second of the shows here, which were 10 times better anyway. And it just made the whole experience that much more special. I can't imagine only having seen them once on the tour!

Everything was so surreal, like i still can't believe that i was only 4 people from my all time favorite band, it was really a dream come true! I didn't get pulled on stage, but i freaked out and screamed till i didn't have any voice left, i got some water from Billie's water gun on me, i didn't caught any drumsticks or something but i came out with my pockets full of confetti and i'm pretty sure Mike looked at me! (well, duh, i jumped up and down looking like an idiot while waving to him at least a dozen times) I really really really want to see them again! And next time i'll bring my bff

Lucky!!!!!!!!I sang Longview in Perth My favourite show as a whole (disregarding the being on stage thing) was definitely melbourne #2 - pasalacqua, razorbacks, coming clean, redundant, macys day. eeeee i get giddy just thinking about it.
