Nymrawd Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 I personally reckon it'll be something of a mix between Nimrod and 21CBDtrue.
The Disappearing Boy Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 i don't think we'll have to wait so long for the next album. 2012 i guess.
Eirik Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 i don't think we'll have to wait so long for the next album. 2012 i guess. They should release it December 21st.
Sanity Loan Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 and call it doomsday?No... call it "2012 is the biggest misconception EVER"According to the Mayans, 2012 does NOT call for the end of the world.... it is just the end of their calendar. What happens when our calendar reaches the end? We start over!! That's what their's will do. And plus, they don't say its the end of the world, they say something will happen that will make the world BETTER.. not destroying it.
Waffles Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 I heard they were going to continue with the Foxboro H. thing. That would be awesome.
Velocity Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 No... call it "2012 is the biggest misconception EVER"According to the Mayans, 2012 does NOT call for the end of the world.... it is just the end of their calendar. What happens when our calendar reaches the end? We start over!! That's what their's will do. And plus, they don't say its the end of the world, they say something will happen that will make the world BETTER.. not destroying it.This reminds me of the whole Y2K garbage. Everyone thought that the clocks on all computers would go back to zero and there would be chaos. Didn't happen, and neither will the world end in 2012.ANYWAY, maybe we'll get a new Network album soon. And I have a feeling that the new album won't take so long to come out this time around. Just a hunch.
Banan Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 I love their old stuff, but the new is amazing too, so i'm hoping for a mix! Like if you put dry ice, 86, basket case, east jesus nowhere and jesus of suburbia in a mixmaster. Idk, no matter what they decide to do, i just know i'll love it. Unless they feel inspired by the 90's boybands, ofc.
The Platypus! Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 We have been getting something pretty much every year since Warning.2000: Warning2001: International Superhits2002: Shenanigans2003: The Network2004: I Fought the Law and AI2005: Bullet in a Bible2006: The Saints are Coming2007: Working Class Hero, the Simpsons Theme, FBHT EP2008: Foxboro Hot Tubs album and new Pinhead Gunpowder2009: 21st Century Breakdown and Live in Tokyo2010: "Bullet in a Bible 2"?, The demos they recorded in Europe? That makes me feel better on how long we are gunna have to wait for the new album and i don't think they'll call it Bullet In A Bile 2 they might do but i doubt it they'll call like 21st century breakdown world take over or summing :L
A song for the lovers Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 It will be great if the new album will be with fast and energetics songs...
Tomcat20 Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 Didn't Green Day said in a recent interview they would rather make an EP before releasing a new album? They were also in a recording studio in Glasgow, back in autumn.
no name Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 I hope that the new album will not be too long......
Maddy. Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 I had a dream that Green Day's new album was called Vegetable Domination and they were performing their song The Cauliflower Parade dressed as carrots.
Princess Consuela Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 I had a dream that Green Day's new album was called Vegetable Domination and they were performing their song The Cauliflower Parade dressed as carrots.I think 'Disappearing Carrot', '409 peas in your coffeemaker' or 'Beans I might have ate' would all be great hits

greendaytodeathandback Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 idk with american idiot and 21st CB it just seems that there is really nothing to continue on from these albums. well at least i cant envision any new album after 21st cb right now. its feels like we are reaching an end to green day, and i dont like that no no no no no no no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!we can sooooooo not be reaching the end of green day!!!!!!!!!!!that CANT happen!!!!!!!!!

Sarah.Scumbag Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 i don't think we'll have to wait so long for the next album. 2012 i guess.Hopefully we'll get one round about then. I dont want to wait another 5 years!
Conspiracy. Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 I heard there would be another The Network album that was called Omega 3000 or something..That would be so awesome! I can't wait for it!
dolce Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 They seem to really have a blast doing Foxboro Hottubs stuff, so hopefully that will be their next "album in between albums". For the next Green Day album... you know, they haven't disappointed me yet. In fact, they just keep blowing me away more and more. They're incredibly talented and have made awesome music for over 20 years. It's not like all of the sudden that will stop. I have faith that whatever they do next will be just as good or better than their collective work so far. They are ALWAYS progressing and getting better, IMO.
