Punx89 Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 very bad position for GD.They deserve the 1st place,but that's ok.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 No Green Day, but they did have the EMA's in it, and they had KYE from the EMA's as background music in the beginning. And they obviously showed a couple clips of them. Now I'm done with posting things that aren't interesting
Metanoia Posted December 22, 2009 Author Posted December 22, 2009 Coldplay? Really?yep....i mean they're ok and a few songs are pretty cool but there is no freaking way theyre any bettter then green day live
Spider Tre Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 killers and wait......franz ferdinand......and no. 1 was coldplay green day should have been -.-dont remember all....... :/lol why didn't they just put throw the JoBros up their too!
Hermione Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 Green Day only one place ahead of Katy Perry on the list?! This is a worthless list!
Alyssa J Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 Bullshit, Green Day deserve number 1!!! Hell, I have a friend who's seen Sum 41 (her favorite band) and Green Day live, and said while the Sums were great live, Green Day totally blew her mind.
thenextsexpistol_mak Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 Coldplay was no. one? uhm.. I get really upset when Green Day isn't where they deserve lolcoldplay is playing the foro sol in mex soon, its gonna be a masive fail only 3 bands have filled the foro sol: ac/dc, metallica and iron maiden.the place is too fuckin masive, clodplays show is gonna be empty.
Kekumba Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 I don't have a clue what the list was, but No. 1 should be Nine Inch Nails - August 23rd, New York City. End of fucking story.
Vrock09 Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 wtf?! Green Day should have been number 1 wtf?!!! Mtv sucks
Mira. Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 This just came on TV and Green Day should have at least been top 5. Coldplay are pretty awesome live, but Lady GaGa was number two! Seriously, Green Day is definitely way better than Lady GaGa live!
Sanny Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 Well, considering that the performance they did there was not their best (don't hate me - go and watch it), #8 is a good place for them, but I also think they would have deserved to be at least in the top 5.And Coldplay? Yes, Coldplay! They are G R E A T live, I mean seriously. I'm a huge GD fan, but believe me, Chris Martin can at least put on a show like Billie can. Though, I know that a lot of you guys here won't see it like that because I suppose that most of you don't know all their or at least half of their songs, but in MY opinion, Coldplay are a fantastic live band Oh and I think that Green Day can at least ONCE let somebody else win in a 'best live performance' category
Rebel07 Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 what the hells up with alternative rock blowing up? why are coldplay/kings of leon/etc. so big? i don't get it. there not terrible bands but they're so boring to me. :bored:It's alright guys, it's mtv xDthis.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 They're on #6 with Best MTV Awards or something, with 21 Guns (which they won an award for on the VMA's)If anyone's interested I can try to put it online, I recorded it, but it isn't super interesting or anything xD
Mira. Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 ^ I'm interested. And Know Your Enemy was either number 6 or 7 (I can't remember) on the 10 x 10 for Favourite Song of 2009.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 ^ Okay, tomorrow I'll try to get it on my computer and internet And yay. That means they'll be in at least 4 of the 10x10 things marathon MTV NL has on Friday
Mira. Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 ^ Awesome, thanks! I think they're in pretty much all of these 10 x 10 episodes coz I just saw another where they were kind of in it. It's the 10 x 10 for Unforgettable Moments in 2009, and number 6 was the EMAs. It showed a bit of their "Know Your Enemy" performance, and Katy Perry and Billie Joe counting down for Jay-Z.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Not in all, I've seen at least 2 they're not in (best male and something else), but in at least 4 now - Best Live Performance of 2009 #8 (KYE)- Unforgettable moments 2009 #6 (EMA - KYE)- Best MTV Awards #6 (21 Guns)- Favourite song #6/7 (KYE)And I'm tempted to just tape everything to see if they're in any more, but my dad would probably kill me
Li Sa Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 I think they deserve no.1. I've never been to a concert yet ( ) but alone all the things I hear about their concerts, and the vids and so on make me think they're the best live band EVERand: Good that they're in more than one list I guess that's not possible for Coldplay :whistling:
Jaelle Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 And Coldplay? Yes, Coldplay! They are G R E A T live, I mean seriously. I'm a huge GD fan, but believe me, Chris Martin can at least put on a show like Billie can. Though, I know that a lot of you guys here won't see it like that because I suppose that most of you don't know all their or at least half of their songs, but in MY opinion, Coldplay are a fantastic live band I agree SO MUCH.Seriously people, you should all put your prejudices aside. If you've never seen Coldplay live, then don't judge...That being said, this list is invalid without Depeche Mode in it.
bat-chen Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 I love Coldplay and from what I saw there are amazing in live. though Green Day are amazing too and they should be number 1 also.
Elissa. Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Pshh....MTV is just getting revenge on Billie for pulling all those people up on stage at the VMAs (and causing mass hysteria)
