Poor Billie Joe, I hope he feels better soon. Food poisoning can do some serious business on a person.

The tweet really scared me today;

I'm always worried one of them will end up seriously injured or sick, they work themselfs so hard.

It was November 8th 2005 = and it was cancelled several weeks earlier due to problems at the venue. Instead, the band did a mini gig at BBC television centre (I was there!) and the MTV awards in Portugal. We got full refunds.

I always worry about the way they work themselves so hard - this has been a pretty intensive tour, and I marvel at how good Billie's voice is after so long on the road - I wouldn't have been surprised if that had been the reason for the postponement.

Hope he gets better quickly, and doesn't go back to work too soon.

Thanks for the info Sharon, so even then they didn't cancel the show due to illness, real troupers they are.

P.S. Billie get better soon sweetie!

Oh no, get well soon Billie!!! :(

Even though he's ill, he was determined to play tonight, so brave! :D

First thought that came to my mind: too much drinking last night :ninja:

Wow, Billie really cares about his fans, even though he didn't feel well he insisted on playing. If it is food poisoning it may not go away soon, though :/ I hope he gets better soon and Aussies will get wonderful show :)

^ The guys go out drinking all the time from what I can tell. I highly doubt he'd cancel a show just because of a bad hangover. He's more professional than that.

Exactly. He takes his job very seriously and the fact that they rarely cancel a show proves that. They give everything on stage, and if you're feeling rough, everything isn't possible, and Mr Perfection wouldn't settle for that.

You speak my mind, dolce!

Awwww :(

I hope he gets well soon. It's so nice he's dedicated though, being determined to perform and all. but sometimes, we just can't do it all.

But I am not telling it was because a hangover. Just what came to my mind first when I heard about it :) I completely agree with you and sharon.
