Isabel Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 I actually prefer the acoustic version to the album version, but regardless it's an incredible song."Now she's realising love can be filled with pain and distrust" is one of those lyrics that will always have a significant meaning to me
Guest Shangri-La Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 my faaaaavorite!the acoustic version is my most played song on itunes.
heartscollide Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 I fucking LOVE this song. But I didn't really listen to it as much, until I heard that beautiful acoustic version <3And the lyrics are so cute and meaningful.
ANJI Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 One of the best songs from Kerplunk! Amazing song and lyrics
Heather! Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 "Open up your worried world and let me in"
Lauren Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 MY FAVORITE SONG EVER!!!!I tried to get Billie to play it in DC, but he couldn't here me. Instead of trying again in Vegas, I asked for Misery and got that. Go figure. Anyway, next time I'll request this.
Freeny Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 I feel like I can relate a lot to this song, because I've known a lot of "Juliettes" in my life that I've pretty much tried to save.. That's at least what that song is about to me; trying to help out someone who's depressed.Especially these lyrics are awesomeCause I'm losing what's left of my dignity -A small price to pay to see that you're happy.Forget all the disappointments you have faced.Open up your worried world and let me in.The losing what's left of my dignity-part really hits hard, because sometimes when you try to help someone out like that you've gotta do stuff that's below your dignity (no, I'm not talking about sex), just so you can see them happy.
Isabel Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 I can upload the acoustic version to megaupload for anyone who wants it. Just PM me
Laura! Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Is this acoustic version still on iTunes?I love this song so fucking much.
Isabel Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Wait, can I just port the link for it here?I was just in the 21stCB forum and reading through the covers thread. I know you're not supposed to post links there because they're all copyrighted and not really available for download. But can I post the megaupload link for the acoustic version here? No? Meh.

J'net Posted December 15, 2009 Author Posted December 15, 2009 That's ok. Just wanted to check And I very much appreciate that you did check. Thanks !
bjrules Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Love this song! One for the Razorbacks would have to be one of Green Day's best songs of all time.
cherylr Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Anyone know what a "razorback" actually is ? Also lol at that 2nd video! "Hey, you're a big guy!" Teeny tiny Billie. The mascot of the University of Arkansas is the Razorback. It's a wild boar. And, I think generally a person from Arkansas is referred to as a razorback. Jason White is a razorback!
NowhereBound Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 I like the live version on 1039 better than the original.THIS.and I also really like the lyrics...
Mar Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Love this song. Billie really knows how to write a song that not only kicks ass, but can convey devotion to a person in a great, simple and direct way.
minorty13 Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 I absolutely LOVE the lyrics "open up your worried world and let me in"I think so many people can relate to both sides of that lyric; trying to get in and also keeping people out  beautiful songHaha and now I actually know what a razorback is! who says that Green Day isn't educational?!
Supermodel*Robot Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 One of my favourite Green Day songs. The lyrics are so moving & I love the cymbals in the beginning.
Heather! Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 OMG, acoustic version = greatest thing ever. I've been listening to it on repeat for the last hour.
Prisca Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Love this song. Billie really knows how to write a song that not only kicks ass, but can convey devotion to a person in a great, simple and direct way.Well said, Mar.
Solitary One Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 I love this song, it rocks! It's the first one off of Kerplunk that I heard.
