Who would you want to see supporting Green day in 2010?

The Network, Tubs, Prima Donna because that could mean The Tubs, Rise Against is great, Bouncing Souls would make me happy, MCR is good, I love Franz Ferdinand and Kaiser Chiefs, and yeah I still say Lady Gaga. :P

Yea I used to like them :ninja: and I feel like he would try to be cooler than Green Day and just be an ass.

That's exactly what he would do! All he did at the show was get the girls to scream for him. It's like STFU AND PLAY YOUR MEDIOCRE SONGS SO I CAN LEAVE. I'm sure GD would hate their performance.

They should do like a Network, Tubbies, Green Day show and just pass out from having no energy left every night.

that would be epic. They can use Lady Gaga as an interlude, so Lady Greenga will finally happen, and they can get some rest! :D

Ok, more seriously... PANSY DIVISION

NO! I saw AAR and Taking Back Sunday last month. TBS were amazing, but AAR were TERRIBLE. The singer is such an idiot. Tries to be sexy and such; it was really annoying. I wouldn't want to see them open for Green Day, haha.

I saw them on Rove and the singer had his top off and rubbed pink glitter all over himself. he was wearing very tight pink jeans too.

I just can't think of any band I'd want to see open for GD

except the Network

, honestly, because no band could ever measure up to them performance-wise. :P

and AAR is terrible live, I actually missed their set when I saw Blink, but just hearing it while I was at the merchandise table was bad enough.

YES YES YES!

AAR wasn't supporting when I saw Blink; I had Chester French, Panic! at the Disco, and Fall Out Boy. I saw AAR with Taking Back Sunday and Anberlin, and I wanted to rip my ears off when AAR came on. They played for like 2 hrs and 45 mins. No lie. Tyson was like, This is our longest set evaaaaaaaaaa I'M SEXI OMG, and I'm like, Nooooooo, really? It's midnight and your stupid ass is still on the damn stage. Ugh.

I hate it when bands try way too hard.

I totally see your point of view. I can't think of a band that would actually do them justice and fit well as an opening act.

I wish Panic had played when I saw Blink, they're at least okay. I was stuck with Asher Roth, AAR, and FOB. But I missed the first two acts anyway so I guess it doesn't matter.

:o that's SO long for an opening set! What the hell? How annoying.

Yeah like, there are other bands I want to see live but I don't really know. When I saw Green Day on the AI tour Jimmy Eat World opened and I was like 'That's cool, but you don't even compare to Green Day.'

I missed the opening acts at my Blink concert too! Hahaha.

Well, I missed Chester French and Panic. We got there late. We missed about half of FOB's set too, but saw all of Blink.

And lol no, I saw Anberlin, Taking Back Sunday, and AAR. Anberlin and TBS were the opening acts, and AAR was the main band. Which ticked me off. TBS is freakin' amazing and should've been the main band, but AAR is better known. But THEY. SUCK. I don't mind some of their songs, but their live performance killed like all the love I had for them. Totally disappointing.

I think it could be MCR because they're new album will be coming out next year, so it could happen.

Bayside. THE NETWORK. I would kill to see my favorite band and 2nd favorite band playing together.

Oh haha I didn't read that closely enough before.

The venue I where I saw Blink was SO full, traffic was terrible even though we left with what should have been enough time to get there. We got into the pit maybe two songs into FOB's set.

Yeah, a band who isn't any good live should NOT play a set that long... I liked them in 8th grade but that song "Gives you Hell" just makes me want to send Tyson Ritter to hell.

Ugh. If MCR opens I'm going to be a little bummed. I've never seen them but from what I've heard they aren't too good live. They're another one of those bands I liked in middle school but have grown out of.

Oh yeah, traffic was terrible.

I didn't like my venue. It was the Post Gazette Pavillion, and it was outside and stuff. And for that place you have the field, then you have seats in front of the field, and the pit. And the seats and the pit are reserved, so we had to be in the field. Pretty far away. :/

Yes! Move Along is a decent song, but yeah, their newer stuff...no.

I used to love MCR. I still love them, but I haven't listened to them in forever. I heard they are bad live too. I'd like to see them just because I like their music, but meh. The Network would be better. :P

They should go old-school and play with Bob Mould

For those of you who haven't seen Bob live, take a look at his passion

That's exactly what my venue is like. It's the same place Green Day played on the AI tour, and pit tickets are fucking expensive but for no reason. I begged my mom for pit tickets for Blink though :)

the good thing is, the pit at Journal Pavilion is really tiny, so it seems like a relatively intimate show when you're up front. I really hope Green Day plays there—well, they'd have to I suppose, because it's the only venue in New Mexico that is large enough for them.

I definitely still have a soft spot for MCR, their music has a lot of memories attached to it, for me. I suppose there could be worse openers... but the Network would be the best!

They would be great. Blink 182 would be a good opener too, I really like them.

Besides, for all the times Green Day played before Blink at Pop Disaster, it should go the other way around finally. :)

Yeah, I feel you. Although, I preferred seeing them than some other band I wasn't fond of 'cause then the time would've dragged by a lot slower!

The Gaslight Anthem would be awesome, too.

Do bands playing Wembley Stadium usually have two supports, yeah?
