Morgan7 Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 lol i got excited when the title said "bowl"....maybe they'll auction one of those kind of bowls another time that's really cool, i wish i was able to participate That's what I first thought of when I saw it.
Juliette Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Tre & Billie's signatures look like a kid just learning to write Also why does it say og under BJ's name ? Or am I just totally missing something.

Fuzz Posted December 10, 2009 Author Posted December 10, 2009 I don't understand why people think it's random. The charity is "Feeding America"... kinda makes sense.
Whatsername1533 Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 When I read the title I was thinking about the other bowl. I totally wish I could get this I don't know if I could eat anything out of it though cause I would be afraid that the ink would wash off. Maybe it was signed then the shiny coat was put over it.I still dont think I would eat out of it though cause I would be freaking out, I would be like "holy shit I'm practically eating out of their hands!"

Lauren Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 haha, cute idea. I love GD for doing all sorts of charity stuff. I'd bid, but tbh, I'd rather not pay that money to get a bowl signed by GD. I'd rather just donate money myself. Autographs to me aren't worth anything unless you get them yourself.

Juliette Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 I think it's 09 for the year.Oh duhh how dumb am I!
E!!i Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Oh duhh how dumb am I! That's not bad 'cause we're all a bit dumb sometimes.
Rosie May Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Haha, they've signed hard hats, bowls what next? Why does Billie always seem to forget the "E" in his own name? If I got it I'd probably put it up on my wall or something... if you put food in it the signstures would probably just wash off and you'd be stuck with a bowl that you'd paid at least $40 for.
drumstick Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 that's cool! I'd like to have it but ...I have no money
Abbey. Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 looks like oldrocker has herself in an old fashioned bidding war
alaniluau Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 I'd like to have this, but I'd never touch it in fear of hurting it in some way. I'm happy they're giving the money to charity.
mrwhirly2000 Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 I understand the reason behind them signing a bowl (feeding america), but come on! a bowl, really?!? how about a nice plate with their picture printed on it, or even a regular plate would be easier to display... or pretty much anything other than a bowl. if they really wanted to raise money for charity, anything would create a higher value than this. it would be free for them to just sign one of their cd's, and it would provide more money for those in need.
Sharmellow Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 That's not bad 'cause we're all a bit dumb sometimes.Oh the irony. Anyway, great cause, wish I could bid and participate. So far it's at $200, that's amazing. So many kids would be fed with that much money.

**She** Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 I understand the reason behind them signing a bowl (feeding america), but come on! a bowl, really?!? how about a nice plate with their picture printed on it, or even a regular plate would be easier to display... or pretty much anything other than a bowl. if they really wanted to raise money for charity, anything would create a higher value than this. it would be free for them to just sign one of their cd's, and it would provide more money for those in need.I don't think the guys themselves decided to sign a bowl for this. If you look at the other auctions, you can see that every celebrity who took part in this thing signed a bowl and they all look the same.I took a look at the other auctions. The only one which is more expensive then the Green Day bowl is the one from Keith Urban with 205$. Lady Gaga is at 140$. All the others are waaaaaay below those. Some poor people like Tory Spelling or Samaire Armstrong got no bids on their bowl. I would find that a bit embarassing.
Maddy. Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Bowls are cool. I wish I had the money to get this one, I mean omfg you're eating cornflakes out of something that Green Day touched lmfao. xD
Abbey. Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 CONGRATS TO OLD ROCKER!!! And $405 to charity!
J'net Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 Since the auction has ended, I'm going to unpin this thread now.
