This song is very much underrated. I love it, sometimes I think it's a shame that it's only on Shenanigans because I rarely listen to that album because I just don't like the other songs on it very much.

I adore this song.

I am one of those people who are considered way over-sensitive and while I understand it is probably a bit much, I believe humans are meant to be like that. Desensitization really disgusts and upsets me. I don't understand how people can get so much pleasure or be so indifferent about others pains and horrors. I really hate the way so many people are so disconnected from humanity and have no empathy or compassion. Still, I understand it's not entirely their fault. It's just the way society is nowdays.

She actually did and I got up and told the instructor I was leaving. She told me no I wasn't, but I said I had already seen one of these, and I got the point and I didn't see it as entertainment like those other dumb asses did. I did actually walk out. Not as some moral point, but just cuz I didn't want to watch the damn snuff film. I couldn't see it as exciting and awesome like all the other people in that class did.

Good for you! way to hold onto your principles (which I think is what Desensitized is indirectly about doing). They've been showing those in California since I was in driver's ed 20 odd years ago. I refused to watch it too.

It took me a while to get used to the intro, with all the smashing and screaming and "GET OUT!"s, but now I've warmed up to it. It's probably one of my favorite songs off of Shenanigans.
