about a month before the gigs i constantly listen to them and my parents were getting annoyed with hpw much I talked about them e.g. i would tell them what happenned in all the gigs before 28/10/09 and the different setlists. I just talk about them constantly to anyone that will listen!

Listen to them like crazy, talk about it non-stop and get crazy excited a week before. :)

I don't think I did anything special before my show, I just did a little countdown in my head every morning, and then on the actual day, I was walking around like :woot:.

As for a week in advance, nothing. Not much to prepare for. But the night before (if I have school the day of) I will figure out what I am going to wear.

But with each passing day I get more and more excited of course.

this was my first green day concert so i had everything planned out well in advance like to make a sign or not what to bring what to wear etc but it wasnt till about 2weeks before when i started to get properly organised i brought a pink boa and pink bunny ears (which Billie wore both :D) brought a flag then decided times and how to get there brought my food the day before and prepared it the day before and i listened to Green Day constanly for i dont how long before but about a month before the concert i didnt listen to anything but Green Day

I listen to only Green Day.

I get really excited.

But for some reason I can't eat the 2 days before, I just drink my weight in Kool-aid. :D

I don't eat cause I'm anxious, the only thing I can think of to compare it to is the moring before your first day of school. It's nothing like that though cause its fucking Green Day not another shitty year of school. Ok im gonna shut my face cause this post was kinda pointless.

I cry.

Yeah I just can't eat ugh. I'm anxious like I'm about to sit an exam but excited at the same time.

I know what I'm going to wear now, but I can't believe people know what they're going to wear weeks before the actual show lol.

OMG I CAN NEVER EAT!

I just wanna cry and scream. I don't get hungry.

I bought tickets to see them last summer for me and my cousin and she literally went out the next day and bought a new outfit for the concert.

The show wasnt for like 3 months.

at least she didnt go line up for the concert 3 months before it. lol

I planned my outfit about 2 weeks before hand.

I wanted to wear my rarest Green Day shirt, which was an Insomniac tour t-shirt. But, they day of I decided to where my "When I Come Around" t-shirt for some reason that I forgot.

I made a sign that took me about 2 days, but the lame ass security dude at the door told me to throw it away. He said "It's their rules, not mine." I don't know who he was talking about.

I don't do anything special before. But I always listen to the band I just saw while I drive home after.

She probably would have if I let her. :D

She wanted to get there at like 6 am but she had a shrink appointment in rhode island and the show was in massachusetts.

2 weeks in advance? Haha, nothing. But mostly like a week in advance, I start freaking out, and start listening to their albums non-stop :)

Posted

I usually listen to the band I am going to see more as it gets closer to the concert (in this case Green Day, and I started about a month before, lol)

But that's it really, if there's anything else I need to do I just do it last minute like anything else xD

freaking out XD

Wow, I always worry about that way before. So, I already know what I'm going to wear for Wembley.

Me too. Are we crazy?

The 1st concert I went to, I picked out my outfit like, a month in advance. This time I did it the night before for both concerts, but alas - I wasn't happy in the end with my choice of clothing (I thought it would be weird to where a GD shirt to a GD concert - why? IDK), but it wound up wearing the merch I bought at the concert during the concert. It all worked out. :D

A week or two before, I tried not to think about it too much. I didn't want to dwell on it, or else the week would move by super slow, so I just kept myself busy (easier said than done when the concerts are in the summertime).

I don't really do anything weeks in advance. But on the day of the concert, I normally go into town & muck around until a decent time to start quing.
