MascaraTears Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 hahaha I think it's really funny that they felt the need to write an article about this... I can definitely picture GD doing that though ah, the hilarious mental images this brings up...
Hermione Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Firstly, what's a WAP ? Secondly, I just think it's degrading. Let's face it, they don't put lesbian in the title to show they're equal opportunities friendly. I hate this sort of attitude that if you're not willing to be part of 'raunch culture' and show you're 'fun' and in on the joke, you're some sort of prude. Some women enjoy taking part in this kind of thing, believe it or not. It's their free choice to do it and they don't deserve to be told they're degrading themselves. Would you be complaining if the band had watched men mud wrestling?

I believe they put lesbian in the title because it's taking place in a gay bar.

No one is trying to make you be a lesbian mud wrestler are they? No didn't think so. If those women want to do it then all power to them. I'm sure if they thought lesser of a person for doing it than they would stop. Its all just entertainment, don't take it so seriously.
Jaymee!! Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 As if someone actually got offended by this This is probably the most ridiculous news clipping about the band in eons!

Hey, lesbian mud wrestling is just a regular daily activity in Australia. I don't even think you have to be lesbian to engage in it.
Whatsername1533 Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 I can totally picture them doing something like this and then tre joining in. and the title made me laugh so hard I almost threw up.
IscoredWaddlesgoals Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 I'm not taking this too seriously, so apologies to anyone if you think that I'm massively offended or something. It's just that last time I checked I was allowed to disagree with people and have my own opinions. And yes, I don't like the idea of women doing this sort of thing in front or a crowd for AU$100. It's not exactly dignified and as I've said before, I don't see why it's weird that I don't like it. At the end of the day, I'm just a bit disappointed to hear Green Day do something like this and I doubt anyone on here is going to change my views.
drumstick Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Is there something wrong with me if I immediately thought about Billie saying this in BIAB? nope! I thought about the same

Well I am glad you are set in your views ---- However, I think it is hilarious that this is what they did on their night off...can you imagine, that looks like one fun party.
