Yay two chances for them to beat the terrible Kings Of Leon . I can't believe Dave Matthews Band are nominated for anything , they're so dull. Glad they've never taken off in this country.

Green Day definitely deserve to win in all three categories, the competition is dire. Shame they're not nominated for album of the year and to me it's madness that 21 Guns is nominated rather than the amazing East Jesus Nowhere, but I can't have everything can I.

I agree with the majority of you that Green Day should have been nominated for Album of the Year, it's crap they didn't. This years Grammys is going to be filled with shitty performances. The only good thing about the night will be when/if Green Day performs and when they win.

Favorite Steve Winwood song - "Gimme Some Lovin'" with the Spencer Davis Group. Also sang with Traffic. Been singing pop music since the 60's. Been putting out solo albums since the 70's. I really liked "Arc of a Diver" album in 1980, but haven't really liked anything he's done since. I really liked the song "While You See A Chance". OK, so I sorta liked the album "Roll With It".

Anyway, he's not exactly a nobody.

Oh, and to however asked: AC/DC released an album late last year (which I guess make them eligible), and as they're pretty fucking huge popularity wise, it's not exactly strange they were nominated.

I don't really know the song, but it seems that the Steve Winwood song (Can't Find My Way Home) was a collaboration between him and Eric Clapton - they were nominated together. And yes, it is very odd.

I can vote for the grammys if I want but I dont think I'm voting for Green Day for all of them. I mean theyre obv my fav band but they have enough awards as it is including grammys and I dont think they'll care that much if they dont win more. I think a new upcoming band like Kings Of Leon deserves it more.
