But, that's not a producer. That's a record label and distributor.

A producer produces the album...

a blog written about the bluestockings talk... and another nyc punk night that someone blogged about that looked AWESOME...the guy writes all that was missing was BILILE JOE!

That's Mike Chickenman, crazy punk extraordinaire. He created a bit of havoc at the Bowery show and was also in an epically strange Longview at MSG1. I met him at the Bluestockings talk.

I really am going to write about this, Abbey. I've just been in a bit of funk about stuff lately. I promise! :)

omfg....just watched him do longview at msg1...he sounded and looked like HARVEY FIERSTEIN doing a punk impression! looks like the pit dropped his @ss on the foor and billie wasnt much of a fan. that c squat night looked pretty darn cool.

Well, if it makes you feel better, Larry scares me... so I probably won't talk with him. Haha...He never acknowledges anything I write to him on FB on his posts, he probably hates me! Haha... even if he doesn't know... sounds like a chumpy song I know...

Just kidding (a little), yes, sometimes it's good to live here....

No. He was pretty nice, talked for a bit about punk archives, but there were a bunch of people that wanted to speak with him. But I emailed him back and may have gotten a little too GD fangirly and haven't heard from him since.

And Mike is crazed, but he's a huge GD fan, he wrote about MSG1 at Exquisite Punks. He also did an interview with one of GD tech guys who told him that they usually don't like it when people go feet-first into the pit! We were talking a bit by email because I told him I wrote about him on my blog, but I haven't heard back from him since then, either.

I dunno... maybe it's just me! :)

i know...didnt he use to write about how he would go into countless shoe stores on his "walkabouts" to find size 15 shoes? he is most DELICIOUS. i would love one of those original cometbus pages. doesnt that event look cool?

yess! and how the one place in the bay area that sold his shoe size closed. poor guy!

I read a story in someone else's zine once that was entirely about how smelly Aaron's feet were.
