Matteo,

Would you be able to send me a file or something with the calender pages so that I can proofread them? I can't really figure out if these are the final products throughout the thread and it's hard to proofread them looking through the files. I don't know if there is another site where the finished months are being kept that I can access?

Maybe people can email me their files? What do you think?

My email address is elderta@mac.com

Thanks, Tanya

Hi guys, I'm going to try and do the proofreading as best as I going back into this thread. Hopefully I have seen all of the final or near to final uploads. Everything I may write are only suggestions, so please feel free to talk back and say no! I have done proofreading for two calendars before, so I hope that I can add to this great calendar that you all have created!

And about that T and Th: T stands for Tuesday, Th for Thursday...

Ok, rummaging through this thread, here are the months that I could find:

January Calendar

http://i50.tinypic.com/2my21w5.jpg

The hyphens in your date list aren't consistent. For the 1st, 6th and 12th, there is a space between the hyphen and the text, but not for the 17th and 18th. Also, is the F in Freese capitilized or lower case?

March Calendar

http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/3893/calendar1b.png

It's beautiful, but I can't really read the St. Patrick's Day text. :(

This one is easier to read, but still tough. But I like it!

May Calendar

Nice!

July Calendar

http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/4907/option3july.jpg

Looks great!

You need consistent spaces between the periods in your date text and the beginning of the text. Sometimes there is a space, and sometimes not, particularly for July 1 and July 2. Also, the slash for the text on July 2 should either be:

... was released/16th anniversary

or

--- was released / 16th anniversary

Right now it's

was released/ 16th anniversary

December Calendar

Are there two calendars for December? Sorry, I saw two different ones and don't know which one is really the one to proof.

One I saw had Hanukkah on December 1, the other on December 2. And one had an h on the end of Hanukkah and one didn't. Hmm. Clarification on which one is the one I should be looking at?

Here are the ones I saw:

There are so many ways to spell Hanukkah, but maybe you want to put an H at the end as in: Hanukkah. Also, it starts at sundown on the 1st, and while I don't know if you want to add the word sundown, the way it looks now, it seems that it starts on sundown the night before (in this case, November 30). So I don't know if you want to make it for December 2, which people will know that it begins the night before? What do you think? Does that make sense?

And should Ramadan be added? Just wondering.

And Kwanzaa has two a's.

Oh geez, I didn't even notice the inconsistency! Sorry!

And the F is uppercase.

I think I'm going to make a new thread to put all of these in.

Hi guys,

I created a new thread for the proofreading stage.

You can add your finished ones here, I guess, for the final discussions. I'll find them and add them to the first page here:

How does that sound?

Great work, people, looks amazing! It' gonna be a great 2010!

Guitar4Girl,

Sorry for any confusion!

If you follow the link provided above to the proofreading page, you will see that I was proofreading each of the months starting last week. Your final versions still go to Matteo. I'm just trying to catch any mistakes. Here is what I wrote for October, a beautiful design!

October Calendar

http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l232/jaz...1024October.jpg

Love the design, but I have the same problem as in Violeta's: it looks like you are saying that there are 3 TO 10 years since Warning was released. Hyphens are usually written to give a range of years.

Maybe:

3rd - 10 years since Warning

10th - 15 years since Insomniac was released

14th - 13 years since Nimrod was released

17th - 23 years since Sweet Children played their first concert at Rod's Hickory Pit

Also, it's Rod's Hickory Pit, not Rod Hickory Pit.

I believe Violeta is going to change his as well.

Best,

Tanya

Matteo, is there a special place for them to upload them, like a URL or a site?

Or are they supposed to send them directly to you?

Don't change it yourself if you don't have the psd. file, their faces will look weird. it's not even january yet so we don't need to panic. :)

Here's my entry one more time:
