Isabel Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 I'd say they'll do similar dates to the ones on the first leg of the tour. Actually, the best way to find out where they'll play is to compare the AI dates; first and second leg. I'm not sure, do they play the same number of shows this time around? Or is it less shows?
newsflash777 Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Fucking transportation is the problem. Like, if they come back to Texas they'll probably only do 2 cities, and I'll probably only be able to go to one because I'm not old enough to drive/ fly down there myself. And same with all states. I'm really scared that I'll only be able to see them once, and then I won't see them again for another 4-5 fucking years.
Heather! Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 I've put all my birthday money and my change in a can with GREEN DAY FUND written on it. I've gotta go to as many shows as possible, even if it's only two...and being able to pay for tickets myself will help persuade my mom to let me.
Mari91 Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 They will but it'll probably be a one nighter.... New York gets all the spotlight unfortunately :/ i hope they do 2 nights in NY again! ha ha i was gonna see bob dylan this year but the tickets are wayyyyyyy to expensive your lucky i predict they will announce the dates in January after there done with the japan tour yeah i hope you're right. but its too far awayyyy Perhaps I will be making a surprise trip to the second NYC show...ROADTRIP! My sister and I would have soo much fun OMG PLEASE COME TO NEW YORK!! we can be the history lovers that we are and visit all the historical crap!

I'd say they'll do similar dates to the ones on the first leg of the tour. Actually, the best way to find out where they'll play is to compare the AI dates; first and second leg. I'm not sure, do they play the same number of shows this time around? Or is it less shows?Yeah, I compared the first leg of the AI tour when they actually performed in my city, but it didn't happen for the first leg of 21CB. Maybe that means there's a good chance of them coming here for the second leg?

Maybe that means there's a good chance of them coming here for the second leg? Yeah, maybe! I wonder who decides where they'll play? Like, does Bill S. just gather a load of promoters and venue reps in a room and let them fight it out to the death? Afterwards, people will be like "Where's Arkansas on the tour?!" And there'll be furtive expressions until someone mumbles "They died." ....or not, there could be an entirely different way of planning the tour dates

It needs to be a pay per view event.
Mari91 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 if that's how they decide things. It needs to be a pay per view event. Green Day should offer like a bulk discount thing. y'know like the more you buy the cheaper they are
Robin105 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 My brothers friend heard about a show in NYC in March at a small club venue. But I can't find anything on it and he doesnt know where she heard that from. I hope it's true though.

sallysimpson Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 YAY! I WILL meet them sometime during this tour. I WILL. Anyone from the ATL even on here? :/ i wanna meet gdc'ers tooooo.... I'm not from ATL but my family is, so my sister and my nephew will definitely be at any/all shows in the atl area.
Sarahnade. Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 ^^Me too! March 21st, my sweet 16, would be especially nice. And I'm doing the same thing you are, Heather! I hope you get to see them a few times, or at least once this coming leg! <3

Sometimes I wish I lived over on the east coast. ^^Me too! March 21st, my sweet 16, would be especially nice. And I'm doing the same thing you are, Heather! Sarahnade. Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 ^I know! But it'll probably be early next year until we get dates. Which isn't too bad, although I would absolutley love to know them now, ahaha.
greenday801440 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I'll most definitely be saving up my money! And a Green Day fund doesn't sound like a bad idea at all! Mine will start...right now. Let's hope they plan lots and lots of shows on the East Coast....(a.k.a NH or MA) but anywhere remotely close to me would be fine with me as well! My dad and I took a road trip to Boston to see them. Then from Boston we drove like three hours to Hartford to see them, then we drove like four hours to Albany to see them, lol.

Fuzz Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I'm gonna go ahead and close this for a couple reasons. 1) this is not news. I know gd.com and a couple other places have decided to make a story out of it. But the band did say since before the 09 tour started, that they would be coming back around to tour north america after the international tour ended in 2010. 2) Any dates being floated around right now are all rumor as far as I'm aware. Until something is confirmed, no need to be filling up pages with unconfirmed crap. If shows are announced, a big deal will be made with plenty of time for those who want to buy tickets. So need to hyperventilate when we don't know anything. 2) General conversations about the tour can wait till we start threads in the 2010 North America forum http://www.greendaycommunity.org/Forum/ind...hp?showforum=91
