I converted two of my best friends and also another close friend of mine who originally listen to hip hop and rnb but I showed her Bullet in a bible and now she is going with me to the concert in Sweden

I've converted my cousin and now she loves them just like me Well, and my two little sisters, because we live listeing to the same music, so they love GD and other bands that I like too. And they convert their friends too

most of my friends don't like Green Day and no amount of convincing/incentive/torture will make any difference.

i do have one friend that likes them. but she did that on her own.

however, my best friend told me that every time she hears GD on the radio, she smiles 'cause it reminds her of me

Same here! I like it when only I like a certain type of music! i don`t think I could handle my friends liking Green Day as much as me. There is this gilr at my school who wants to be friends with me cause she likes them a lot as well and people keep telling her that we would get a long, and I`m like doubt it! lol...

For a noobie fan (I've always kind of liked them, but I've only been a FAN since I saw them this summer), I've done a pretty decent job converting people! I invited four friends to that concert with me, only one of which was already a fan, and by the end, the rest of us were sucked in!

I turned my mom as well, not that it was that difficult. My American Idiot CD is technically hers lol. She listened to a whole Green Day CD before I did. :/

I've also made us an enemy though. My brother, who already shunned practically every form of punk music, now hates Green Day with a passion.

When I went to see Green Day in Stockholm in October my mum joined, just because she wanted to see why I am so overly obsessed with Green Day and besides, it was her bday so I bought her the ticket as a present and now when they announced another show in Gothenburg this summer she called me and said she really wanted to go see them again!

I've converted a few friends before. They don't LOVE them, but they like em. I'm in the middle of converting my little sister now though, she's only 5 so it's kinda hard to really convert her... it's kinda a tradition in my family(kinda!) my older sister converted me by playing Dookie alot, and she doesn't really like them now though.

I should be taking my friend to Wembley with me if that counts, so i am going to try and convert her. She knows the big songs, like 21 guns, and basket case, but that is it. If she can't come, because of her Mom, then i have to take my Dad with me. There is no hope in converting him. He liked Green Day when Dookie came out and i was a baby, but i think i drove him mad with them.
