When I found out about their show in Rotterdam on the 16th October 2009, I decided to ask my brother, who is 13, if he wanted to join me and my friend to the concert. I knew that he liked a few of their songs.

He was like: hmmm yeah whatever...

So he joined us, he was only slightly excited before the show, but after the show he wouldn't stop talking about them. He still hasn't stopped talking about them now xD

When they come to The Netherlands again, we're definitely going together again :]

That's the only person I've turned into a GD fan xD

i've never converted any of my friends into liking Green Day but i've converted my 12 year old brother. ever since i was a fan, he's pretty much liked them but he only liked American Idiot stuff. now i've got him hooked on Minority and he loves Know Your Enemy and 21 Guns too.

I made my mum and dad love them they even went to the show but i didnt see them cause they were in seats And i made my 4 year old sister absolutly love them she sings know your enemy all the time and she cried so much when i went to the concert lol She knows all the band members and full names and what they play every thing. And its taken me 2 and a half years to convince 3 of my high school friends that they are amazing

I have converted my parents, the amount of Green Day they hear from me though they don't have much choice! also I was shopping with my friend and I saw international superhits on sale, my friend thought they had only released one album - american idiot! so i brought international superhits for her and now she loves Green Day :-)

I've yet to convert anyone, but I found this girl at my school that loves them. Well, she found me. We sort of just smile at each other in the hallways and stuff & it's a bit awkward. I wish we could just gab obsessively about Green Day.

I know how you feel. Someone I know said that he doesn't like them because everything they do sounds too similar, so I made him a mix CD spanning 1990-2009 including Network & FBHT but he still didn't go for it. It's upsetting.

That´s a cool topic. I´ve converted my best friend who actually exclusively listens to classics or pop songs. And now she´s going to the concert in Munich with me and is following the latest news about GD as fanatically as I am She had practically no choice because her boyfriend is a GD fan as well!

I also suceeded in convincing my mom of the bands qualities by showing her various vids on Youtube and making her Audio CDs so she can listen to GD while cooking!

i converted my mum . At first she refused to come with me to green day in october and that i couldnt go. one day i was watching bullet in a bible with her in room and she fell in love . she bought two green day tickets loved them at B-Ham and is coming to wembley with me .

I converted 3 of my best friends and my father.

The first friend I converted converted myself, too. He always said he was a Green Day fan and he just had 3 songs . I burnt him the whole American Idiot and with that he brought them back to me, too. Before this they were for me, yknow, just a good band. Since I copied the CD for him, I listened more to them and now I love them.

Then the new album came out and a few days after I bought it, I let my father listen to it a bit. He really likes it and he likes the other albums I bought of them, too.

My best friend always said, GD was shit and at one day he wrote me in ICQ, if I can send him a few CDs and I did it and now he loves them, too.

I converted two friends from school. The first friends fell in love with Billie when I took her to a concert and I also convinced the other friend by playing a lot of songs around him. One day he was like: OMG this is soo good! They will be going with me to a green day concert @ RW
