plasticpictureframe Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 There are many shows that I would like to have attended, but there is only one that I'd mess with the time/space continuum to have gone to.I would do anything to have gone to the September 1st 2005 concert at Giants Stadium. A friend and I begged our parents to go, and then we begged the other's parents. He was the one who got me into Green Day, and we wanted to go together. It wasn't going to be a date, but the closest thing to it in the terms of our friendship. We both had the money, but we couldn't go. It was a Thursday night, and our parents had work the next day. Years later, I've made friends and talked to many people who were at that concert. One of my close friend, was at that concert and her friend who she was there with was the one who got the guitar. I have the audio files from the concert on my Ipod thanks to GDA. I really wish I was there.
karma1215 Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Oooh all of them! Milton Keynes (BIAB), Woodstock '94 & 31st October 09 MEN Arena Ditto to all I would say CBGB, Filmore, the gig they played at the 9:30 club because that's one of the first shows they play in D.C., Woodstock, and all of the American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown shows.

Tiffx Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 I'd have loved to see them way back palying at Gilman's I love intamte places like that...Too bad a was a fetus at that point. If I have the math right, I dunno.Same. Also Woodstock and Milton Keynes.
Bohemian+Scandal Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Oh what I'd give to have been born about 18 years earlier. I would have been able to see Green Day play in the early days and I wouldn't have to be part of the sparkly vampire generation. Actually I've often considered where I'd go if I somehow came about a Tardis or a Flux Capacitor or something. Going back in time to see an early Green Day show is ALWAYS on my list of things to do. Hehe.Anyway, I'd go with any gig circa '90 or '91. Maybe the first show they played with Tre.
BuriedInAHole Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Definitely Woodstock 1994 and MIlton Keynes!!
Mar Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 7/28/09 MSGAny show where American Idiot was played in full (such as the Dayton one in 2005)Fox Theatre gig from this yearRoseland Ballroom October 2000 (or any Warning-era show)Gilman showsAny FBHT showSeeing them once just isn't enough
Tiffx Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Oh I forgot, when they played Goat Island in Sydney during the Warning era. Would have loved to been there but I wasn't a fan.
Mrs. Nobody Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Any gilman show, it would be awesome to see how they were then, and then compare to the futureI would have loved to go to any of the Dookie shows, Brixton maybe? And any AI one, so i'd just say Milton Keynes
ANJI Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Ive only ever been to 2 shows which was this year. I'd love to go back to the Wembley Arena one...the show was just awesome and I was closer to the stage!! I'd love to see any show when they were younger...
**She** Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 I would vote for Chicago 1994. I just love Billie Joe going crazy at that one. FHT in England a few weeks ago Me too, even if it's not that long ago. A few weeks before, I would have voted for Milton Keynes as well. But now I know that I will go to Wembley Stadium next year. Now I'm not that sad anymore that I couldn't fly over to the Milton Keynes concert.
drumstick Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 one from the Gilman era! when they weren't famous and when there was no stupid screaming "Billie's girl fans"
