Speaking of those two songs, he'd better do something incredible for them (assuming he even does the latter) to make up for the ones we've gotten recently. I thought Mike's lyrics were pretty good, even though they're different from Billie's, and In The End? Way off the mark.

The reviewer seems to have gotten a bit lazy with the last couple of songs. I thought the review for emenius sleepus was a bit harsh as well. It's always been one of my favourites from dookie. Not sure I like the way he has to mention how much he likes when I come around in every review either.

I don't think he was really bashing Whatsername and See The Light, he's really just saying they're good, but quite understated for the closing song of an album. Sounds more like he's bashing "unremarkable rockers" Walking Contradiction and Prosthetic Head.

I dunno, it's funny he describes it as one of the best albums of the last 20 years when he hates on/doesn't seem to care about so many of the songs. But it was an interesting read.

Yeah, agreed. There wasn't (in my opinion) a better way to end AI than with Whatsername. Just the 'Forgetting you but not the time.......' is so..

hmmm it has been obvious the writer has his favourites and least liked dookie songs.

anyhow, i enjoyed reading those of which he liked.
