There was a shooting on "East 12th Steet in Oakland." When I heard that I was like "Gaaaaaahhh!!!!!"

They kept making reference to Oakland and then someone said "She lives on Telegraph Ave." :teehee:

Okay so I work at a grocery store as a cashier and today I was cashing out a customer and I looked on the screen and it said paper lanterns. I smiled and the customer looked at me weirdly.

Today in my art class we got to learn the harmonica. One of the history teachers at my school was playing the background guitar and he was telling a story about how he got his first guitar and stuff then he said he got is electric and thats when things changed. Some kid said you went through your metal phase huh? He replied with "I am more of a punk ask Dookie there" then he nodded towards me. I was wearing my kerplunk shirt so he made the reference to the album. LOL Coolest thing a teacher has done at school by far.

While I went with the school on a trip to New York, Waiting started playing on the bus, so I asked which of the teachers added it to the CD, then I got into conversation with my old Modern Studies teacher about how he saw them 5 times, when they had just started off. And How I was going to see them a few days after we arrived home from the trip, also trying to convince him that he was being ridiculous & Green Day hadn't sold out. ¬¬

Said here a few times already, but I always enjoy hearing Green Day between plays in a hockey match.

Today (or yesterday) in the Olympics, East Jesus Nowhere was played in the match Finland-Germany when 5.30 was left in the third period.

Previously I hadn't heard that particular song before at this kind of an event, more like American Idiot, KYE, WtP, WICA, Basket Case, HaR and Holiday is played.

Know Your Enemy was playing during a gym class today. I hung out by the doors until it was done......

Some parts of Rihannas new video for "Rude Boy" reminds me of the 21st Century Breakdown video and also GD has a concert DVD titled Rude Boys 2003.

And then one day at school last week, my teacher said that he had American Idiot stuck in his head all day which I thought was pretty school. And then him and some other kids started talking about gay celebrities and BJ's name came up and I was like "he's bi" and this one kid was like "ya....but he's gay" and then I said "but he's married...and has kid" and then that was the end of that.

My friend told me that she found a folder/poster in her science classroom labled Green Day and it apparently had pictures of them on it. I have yet to see this, but i'm gonna hunt it down tomorrow.

I also heard when I come around, i started freaking out!
