One time in science, (I'm a huge science nerd) we were playing a trivia game. The question was, "Which element on the periodic table is liquid at room temperature?" or something like that. I jumped up and said loudly, "80 PLEASE KEEP TAKING ME AWAY! Err... Mercury." Also, my Social Studies teacher always talks about Minorities.

Every time I see a pack of Newport cigarettes...

I was taking an important Chemistry test and when I looked at the periodic table i saw an element called Ytterbium and it kind of reminded me of a really old foreign guy trying to pronounce Letterbomb (There was also an element called Berkelium which reminded me of Berkeley, California) :D

One of the most recent elements to be named is Livermorium. After Lawrence Livermore (there's already Lawrencium).

I had a Green Day today

First, i went to the Champs-Elysées in Paris, i decided to go in the Virgin Megastore. I saw :

- i was at the vinyl section of the store, and i saw a girl looking at a Green Day vinyl, i asked her if she liked Green Day and she said yes. I saw a Dookie vinyl, a 21st Century Breakdonw vinyl and a Warning Vinyl.

- i went to another store, and i went to the pop-rock section, i had to find Green Day, and i found some cd's (Kerplunk, On the Daze, American Idiot, 21st Century Breakdown, Nimrod, Insomniac, Warning).

this is probably the weakest reference ever but a question on a UK game show yesterday was:

Complete the title of this Green Day song "Boulevard of ..."

I'm working as a cleaner over the summer and today I was cleaning at the middle school and as I was scrubbing all the desks in the 5th & 6th graders classroom I saw that someone had written "Jimmy says it's better than here" on the inside of one of them.

It made me happy to see a reference to green day, but it's pretty sad..

Sad, but mostly because the lyrics are wrong

No they're not... that's how the song goes...

Doesn't the song go "Jimmy sais it's better than air"? Assuming we're talking about Give Me Novacaine, of course.

I supose the answer will forever be a mystery

I have mistaken it for "air" many times, and thinking that there must be a misprint in the lyrics. It sounds like he's saying "air".. but nope, it's indeed "here".

and that's not the sad part :ermm:

Then what's the sad part? Still "air" makes more sense to me than "here" in that context.

I'm watching the movie The Incredibles and there was a preview for the movie Cars and the song Westbound Sign was playing in the background. I've never noticed that before.
