Forever Now Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 A music channel played the Kinks - tired of waiting for you, a song that Green Day covered on Shenanigans.
Drop Dead Hideous Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 the show how I met your mother. They have a few references to green day. one was going to a green day concert, two is playing good riddance during something. Can't really remember. they even referenced billie joe on the season 2 episode 07 (swarley). I love that show
DannyDirnt Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 I was watching a film on a channel called "Paramount Comedy" and a girl was looking at her boyfriend's CDs.Then she looked one and sais: "Green Day? No,that's too sad for me."
E!!i Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 Today was a Green Day cause I heard Green Day music everywhere! 1) At lunch the radio was on and 21 Guns was played when I made the dishes. 2) At the fitness studio Jesus of Suburbia was played on the radio when I was on the stepper. 3) At home again on TV I watched a German program called "Rach's Restaurant" and Walking Aone was played in the background when they walked through the forest. 4) On another TV channel I watched a German program called "Schau dich Schlau" (Watch you Clever) and American Idiot was played in the background when a guy tried to walk over water. 5) And some minutes later American Idiot was played again on the same program. That was an awesome day! But Walking Alone surprised me the most cause I never heard such an unknown Green Day song on TV before I was watching a film on a channel called "Paramount Comedy" and a girl was looking at her boyfriend's CDs.Then she looked one and sais: "Green Day? No,that's too sad for me." haha wtf? the show how I met your mother. They have a few references to green day. one was going to a green day concert, two is playing good riddance during something. Can't really remember. they even referenced billie joe on the season 2 episode 07 (swarley). I love that show Really, what did they say about Billie? I know the other references, the second one was that they should make a slideshow with photos of them or something and Good Riddance in the background omg I wanna have this! In the background of the german TV show "Rach der Restauranttester", they played Walking Alone today. Alright, they're playing it again while I'm writing this, should I be scared now? The reason why I'm actually posting is that I've never heard Walking Alone being played on TV so far! yeah! I'm not alone! watched it as well! and today was a total Green Day for me like I wrote above
DannyDirnt Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 haha wtf? That's what I thought.I don't know how someone can reject Green Day like that.I just assume that character wasn't supposed to have a good musical taste xD
