ohhh that reminds me a while ago I saw someone with a Green Day shirt from the Rotterdam show at my school

and I said hi, and he was all like 'wtf? well cool you were there too...' while I was being too enthusiastic

your being reminded reminds me! a few weeks ago i was at school and i was wearing a shirt that i got at the concert i went to. this girl who's a grade above me, and someone whom i had never pegged for a green day fan (not that you can really do that, but whatever) came up to me and said something like "omg! i was at that show, that was the best day ever! they're my favorite band...blah blah blah" i was pretty shocked actually. i think i said something like "thats awesome, they're my favorite band too." i couldn't manage to get anything else out

I couldn't because I saw him across the cafeteria so I couldn't just get up and walk over, and I didn't see him for the rest of the day :/ But still, that was pretty awesome

FBHT/Network reference, sort of, but at this club I sometimes go to there's a huge picture of the Jagermeister logo and I always think it's the Lushotology logo. They're only slightly similar but I still always think that's what it is

today I went to the mall... The bus was part of the "Línea 80", and I thought about 80 And then I looked through(sp?) the window and there was this poster and I read "FINK WORLD!". It actually was "Pink world" still, made me happy for the minute

Also: I saw a car that was BB-GR-66 (as in Good Riddance) and a store of soaps called LUSH, wich made me think on scientology. Luckly, I was with my best friend, and we both were laughing. I wasn't so freak to the rest of the group

Some of my friends were teasing me about how I'm never going to get over singing on stage with GD and when I'm old I'll tell my grandkids they'll say "Who the hell are green day?"

I decided to re-live my youth recently and watched some Sabrina the Teenage Witch on YouTube, and in the last series there's an International Superhits poster in her office.

And in The Inbetweeners there's a Green Day poster in the common room, weirdly placed right next to a Mayhem poster :/ (Norwegian black metal band for anyone who hasn't heard of them)

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but my friend showed this video to me and thought that at around 3:00 they "turn into" GD. I kind of see the similarities. It's interesting I guess.

Yesterday was one big Green Day/Foxboro Hot Tubs reference

- I saw the word 'elope'

- 'strychnine' was mentioned in a book (in Dutch. I didn't even know it was a word in Dutch, haha)

- I saw the word 'rotting' twice

- heard 'dearly beloved'

- heard the phrase 'to be saved' (which always reminds me of EJN live)

- I saw one of those bottles like in the album art for Christan's Inferno

They're all kinda lame references, but I liked them
