For me it doesn't mean good day, that apostrophe could easily be replaced by "reen" and be Green Day

I also saw a kid today with a shirt that said "Free for all" on it. It made me think of Minority. Oh, in my school newspaper there is going to be a Green Day mention. A girl wrote a review of Coldplay's new album, which I guess is a concept album, but I don't listen to Coldplay. Anyways, in it she said that the album didn't match up to its contemporaries, like Green Day's American Idiot in 2004.
