TheMinorityof1990 Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that xD That must be it, I'm sure there aren't any go-karts mentioned in GD lyrics Actually, there are. "The time has come and it's going nowhere Nobody ever said that life was fair now Go-carts and guns are treasures they will bear In the summer heat"
sara_gd Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Today my philisophy teacher was reading to us an article and he mentioned some guys from Berkeley University and an astronomer called Michael Mayer
TheMinorityof1990 Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Some of the people in my class were playing videos on Youtube and the words Dawn's Early Light kept being said. My mum went out to get some vegetables for the soup she was going to make and when she came back, she had one of one kinda veg and 21 of another. 1, 21 Veg.......
KatherineKerplunk Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Something I completely forgot to mention! When I went to see GD at Wembley S. There was a little town part opposite the stadium and there was a shop called Sally Although this is FBHT ref not GD
madddie Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Weak connection but a church on my road is called 'St. James'
Lauralovesgreenday Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Nice topic! The 86 bus always goes past my bus stop when i come home from school and reminds me of the song 86 here's a picture:
November's Storms Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 On that topic: The bus I take to and from work, and also the bus that we all took to see GD in Marlay Park, is the 16 bus Also, the bus route passes by a street called Armstrong St. too
TheMinorityof1990 Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 I have quite a few XD Yesterday: I happened to glance at the time and it was 20:20 - although that's more Network than GD My teacher has a hat which is black and white and made me think of Fink, and on the front it said Supreme, which made me think of ISH On the fourth floor, our floor, of the college's tower block, on the fire extingisher, it says Gloria. My friend sent me a text last night at 7:11 Today: I went past International House We watched a film, and there was an advert before it with a car with the number 2-80-something. I saw the numbers 13 and 80 in the film. And the letters B T and C. Someone in the film said Scattered, and someone else said Tub which reminded me of FBHT. Another of my teachers said Working Class twice, and he also wrote Breakdown on the board. The worksheet I was given had the words Breakdown and Motivation on it. There were three numbers in the classroom. 1. 86 2. 21 3. 13 The overhead projector in the corner had the word vision on it. Someone in my class said "No one's there." It reminded me of Homecoming, in the part Mike wrote. I glanced at the clock and it said 10:39. I saw the words Holiday, Confirmed © Breakdown written on a sheet of paper, and the numbers 1, 21. I saw the numbers 16, 21, and 80, the words Motivation and November (which happened to be refurring to Last November), Future, as in Private Ale and Uptight, and the words Networked and Network. We also watched I Am Legend, which has these references: 1, 21, 13, 16. Franklin Street. A scene of a broken window (Broken Glass). Will Smith saying Redundant and shouting Hey Hey. The letters TC on a TV in the film. Someone saying "What's your name?" which reminded me of St Jimmy - What The Hell's Your Name. The words Safe Houses were used, which made me think of Warning. Will Smith also said "Light up/of The Darkness" which made me think of Gloria. And at the end, a Hand Granade was used. I have many more written down, but I'll save them for another day.
xjernpqvrnbfv Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 I swear everytime I look at the clock it's 20:20. And I was at the library at 10:39. I almost shit in my pants when I realized that!
TheMinorityof1990 Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 I can't beleive I forgot this, but I've borrowedv a book by Edgar Allan Poe
muffin_girl Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 I saw this in the main loos in a pub on new years eve. made a good night even better and made me extra glad I bothered to go into the main pubs toilets rather than the one toilet they have in the basement club.
Laura! Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 I was watching TV today and some guy said he was a basket case.

Alright some of these are really stretching it, a lot of them are quite every day things! One of many many internet/green day friends posted a while ago saying she was watching the news and that they had discovered new planets that could possibly inhabit life, but could not be investigated more because they were 2,000 light years away
abattlecry Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 http://www.cracked.com/photoplasty_162_if-everything-was-designed-by-5-year-olds_p2 Look at number two. I know it's spelled wrong... But still. Made me 'woah.'

Pres Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 I was watching tv last night (the show 8 simple rules ) and they were taking about the book catcher in the rye and it made me think of "Who Wrote Holden Caulfield"
TheMinorityof1990 Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 I got my mum to say Y'know last night. And the word Fink is in one of the books I bought today
